Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Mikel Arteta:

🗣️ On Jurrien Timber: “He had a little discomfort in his foot the last few days. After the time he has been out, we did not want to take any risks.”

🗣️ On Riccardo Calafiori: “So much has happened to him in one week. He has come in to a new environment, a completely different methodology, different training and we are managing him. We want to do it slowly, to get him in the best possible way."

Its fcuking football and this clown is talking as though he has reinvented the game ffs :banghead: :banghead: You play the lad in meaningless games like today's cos that is where he makes his mistakes and learns the tactics involved instead of holding him back and throwing him in for the first time when 3pts are at stake  This arrogant cock is full of his own importance

🚨🇧🇷 Arteta on Gabriel Jesus: “The first feeling when I saw him this summer… it was something different”.

“I could sense it. The energy from Gabriel was different”.

“The way he looks is different. The way he moves is different… he looks good!”, says via @SamJDean.

Its either a dastardly ploy by legohead to give it the ol, "nah we're not in the market, everything we need is right here" and put the scent off the signings he wants

OR

HE's an arrogant twat who like lord wonga before him thinks he knows better than what is front of everyone eyes and refuses to budge from the blinkers

choices choices eh!
