ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don’t mind loan deals as long as there’s an obligation to buy the following year, as it allows clubs to juggle the financial side of things as we did with Raya.

Loan with option though, forget about it.

So far this summer they have sold players to the tune of £90m so they can afford to pay him NOW - the premier league is the richest league in the world so why would we allow clubs take the piss with a loan for an international player ??

The chavs are addicted to buying players, it’s fucking hilarious. They had Joao Felix on loan, saw he was absolutely dog shit ye but went out and bought him anyway.

Another player, another long term contract, what a dumpster fire of a club. Bohely has fucked them so badly that no manager for the next decade (and no doubt they’ll have hundreds) could have any hope of succeeding with the amount of bodies around the place. 70 man squad, the vast majority of whom are utter shite, all on huge wages and long term deals - fucking dumpster fire
I love the guy! He has spent billions undoing what the Russian gangsta spent billions doing. He has to be either a secret Gooner or scum fan.

BREAKING: As per @David_Ornstein Wolves among those interested in deal for Aaron Ramsdale.

🚨 Exclusive: Also understand that Bournemouth are interested in deal on loan. Arsenal want 5mill + fee and majority wages paid.

Southampton still interested.

Someone ring up wolves and ornstein and tell both to fcuk off  If wolves or any other club want ramsdale, then they buy him simple as - fcuk this bu!!shit about loaning players out cos they have just sold neto so can afford to buy him.

Have said it before but will say it again, loaning players out is a pet hate of mine and ranks of a badly ran club to me - you loan young players out to get experience or to generate interest in them in the market, but you DO NOT loan out established experienced international players in my book. Sell them for whatever you can get if they want out, otherwise (in ramsdale's case) keep him as back up to save yourself bringing in yet another keeper

I was banging on about this a few weeks ago. Wtf is it with us and this loan bollocks. If a guy is surplus to requirements then sell him for whatever you can get and get him off the wage bill.

I suspect that it’s the wages that are the problem. We put second raters on ridiculously high wages and no other club is stupid enough to pay them.

He's the football 'expert' equivalent of those TV mystics from the 80s and 90s.

"I can see a man, he's aged between 20 and 30. He's kicking something, is it round? Yes, it's round. It could be a football. My crystal ball tells me he could be moving somewhere. Yes, I can see a man, a football and a move. I can see a footballer moving. He's going to move at some point between 1st July and 31st August or between 1st January and 1st February. He'll move to a club with a name and the words football club after it. Yes, it's all clear now. This man plays football and is moving at some stage to another place that plays football. He comes from a place where they have leagues for football and at the moment he plays for a team that wears shirts with numbers and shorts and will definitely be moving to a team in a place that plays football in a league system and who wear shirts with numbers and shorts. I can't say any more at this stage but it's definitely happening soon. Possibly in the next few hours/days/weeks/months/years. Just paper work holding it all up and agreeing the payment structure. As I say, can't say too much right now but you can read more of my transfer insights by paying for the premium service. Just £10.99 a month straight to your inbox once evert two years."

Anyhooo! Back to the land of the living....

BBC Sport:

Real Sociedad are refusing to lower their valuation for Spain midfielder and Arsenal target Mikel Merino, 28

Arsenal have rejected a bid of £25m plus add-ons for 23-year-old England striker Eddie Nketiah from Nottingham Forest.

I mean WTAF !!!??? Just get rid of the LazyCunt... and use that money towards the Merino deal or what or whomever!

Let's be honest Edu was never THAT Good a player and it looks like his abilities as head of Arsenal Transfer's looks to be on par with his playing skills.

I mean the Scum recently sold Skipp for £25mill and yes he was shyte, but equal in terms of shyteness as the Feather...

And now there are growing rumours that Arsenal have contacted the Barcawhores about Gundogan - another Arteta fave  :banghead:

Former Arsenal player, Mark McGuinness is set to join Luton Town from Cardiff City in a deal which could be worth up to £10M.

When he left Arsenal, a sell-on clause was inserted of 20%-25%.📊

With this, Arsenal could make ~£2.5M if all add-on targets are met. 💰
