Abso fcuking lutely - for starters it is a very underwhelming signing anyway, but the way we can drag out a transfer over pennies like this is frankly embarrassing We talk about being a big club and going for the league, and then negotiate to the nenth degree over a £30m transfer ?? If the club believe that he can make the difference between 2nd and 1st then just go in and pay the fcuking money ffs, but I think we all suspect he isnt good enough a player to make that difference

Exactly. Bad enough that we look unlikely to sign the top quality CF and centre mid that we desperately need if we're to compete with the best, but this typical, drawn out transfer bollocks every fucking time simply kills any enthusiasm for the new season. Wtf is it with us and our inept and laborious transfer dealings. We can't even sell players, let alone sign them ffs!!

It's nothing new, it's been like this for as long as I can remember, so given the changes in ownership etc, it appears to be in our fucking DNA.
