1-2. Eddie with the winner.

That Rogers is like a freight train. Rice needs to keep an eye on him. Would go with him and Jorgs in midfield. Partey’ is nearly 40 and his legs are gone.

I'm going for an Arsenal Win, but Only if:
We turn up and play Much, Much better than we did against Wolves last week-end, because like it or not we were only 60% at it for patches of the game and they could so easily have taken at least a point.
We take our chances.
Arteta doesn't play The Slug, Partey the Mis-passer or the Cocktail stick if he does were are well and truly Fucked.
VAR doesn't Fuck Us over as it has a habit of doing.

Greetings fellow Gooners - first post for a while and hope everyone had a good Summer
As is increasingly the case, I need the whole of Summer to get over football and enjoyed every second of the break, the Olympics etc. Wasn't really looking forward to the start of this season at all and still in a bit of denial that it has started! None of that is down to the efforts of our team and manager which were outstanding last season, but entirely down to the lack of will to deal with the oil cheats and the inevitable sense that whether we get 90 points or 100 points, they'll always find a way to be 1 or 2 ahead. "Currently being investigated", "verdict to come in January", "talk of an 80 point deduction" - yeah, yeah of course, that's all going to happen isn't it
The supposed FFP being dealt with, won't be, so another wasted season of them cheating their way to a fifth consecutive title beckons, and the leagues we used to mock like the SPL and the Bundesliga for their predictability now feels like 'pot kettle black'. I see they signed Savinho for a fee "reported to be £30.8m" despite the bloke previously having a €60m release clause in his contract 4 years ago. Bit like Haaland was really only £50m or so.....yeah, yeah. Nothing dodgy to be seen here, lets all play pretend and move on to punishing Everton and Forest
On the topic of the thread - hate these fuckbags will every bone in my body. No, we haven't won the European Cup but its very cute that you still refer to it as that but we haven't won the Championship either thankfully, so take your yo-yo arses back down a level to where you belong. Hope we stuff them of course!

Can someone possibly explain to me exactly what Kiwior has done wrong? He had an extended run at left back during the second half of last season and didn't let us down at all. Let's put it this way, he was certainly more solid than Zinchenko and the team was on a good run....no surprise that we lost to Villa with the Ukrainian back in the side. Anyway, it appears that it's Kiwior who we're looking to sell rather than the proven blonde liability.
Seeing as we now have Calafiori, there's no excuse to play Zinchenko if Timber is out. Btw, what is wrong with Timber?

Yes, that concern has crossed my mind.

Tomiyasu is worse than Tierney for injuries but he hasn't been shipped out yet

We’ll be wearing the lynx Africa top which won’t be the best contrast to their maroon kit.

Hmmm... not quite true SteveO old buddy old chap.... I seem to recall you posting on here early in the Euros about how great VAR was working and how it could work without the Englush refs and linos.... and I also seem to recall VAR then making a complete shit out of the jocks game and a Dutch game and so on.... and I seem to recall a certain handsome young Irishman calling you out on that.... and I further seem to recall you promptly disappearing like a spurz title challenge in the second week of any given season....
