Modern Football Bol**cks

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal fans being ejected and banned for using foul language???

So when we have a perfectly good goal chalked off because of ref mistake, the response must be something like...

Oh gosh what a shame never mind.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Jermaine Jenas getting sacked from the BBC and the feeling of not having to listening to the cunt in the studio or on co-commentary ever again makes this transfer window an instant 10/10

SOURCE BBC:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy76pdz5152o

Jermaine Jenas, who presented The One Show and appeared on Match of the Day for the BBC, has been sacked by the corporation following complaints about workplace conduct.

The former footballer, 41, has been taken off air from both primetime shows.

BBC News understands his contract was terminated earlier this week, because of alleged issues relating to workplace behaviour.

It followed allegations involving digital communications such as texts, which were raised with the corporation a few weeks ago.
A BBC spokesperson said: "We can confirm Jermaine Jenas is no longer part of our presenting line-up."

Taking the missus and my 4 year old boy bowling in Finsbury Park earlier this afternoon, I thought we'd make a day out of it and head for a wander to The Concrete Bowl and Highbury as the little man had never seen either. I was absolutely aching to see the auld place and try and get into the front entrance and marble halls.

Taking a few pics by the cannons out the front I can't help myself get talking to a couple of people taking pictures asking them if it was their first time visiting. I then had to recommend visiting Highbury as it is such a beautiful building.

Absolute blank stares back at me, they didn't have a clue what I was talking about any 'old Arsenal stadium'

Left the place absolutely gutted thinkinh that magnificent building is getting more forgotten about by the newer fans 😢

Happy ending though, some great picture of me and the boy by the East and West Stand entrances, then bowled shit enough so he'd win the bowling but still good enough to beat the missus into 3rd place 😎

Nice story NBG and good to know that you’re blooding another Gooner. Who knows, we might see him in the shirt and on that pitch one day.
