Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

ESR looking like he is Running the show for Fulham... playing in that No 10 position, you know that Number 10 Shirt he once wore for us... :banghead:
He always was a quality player...think he loved the club as well...we got portugese and spanish mercenaries now

I always rated him higher than Saka.
Hopefully he goes on to fulfil his potential now.
Very sad that won’t be at Arsenal

Seriously pleased for him. The biggest test is if he's still playing in 4 or 5 games time because that's his big issue, not his technical ability.

If ESR stays fit he won’t be at Fulham next season. One of the big boys will be in for him.

When he was in that purple patch for us, he was a more effective number 10 than Odegaard and was keeping him out of the team. No way could cone boy allow that, so as soon as the injury hit, he was never allowed an opportunity to establish himself again. I’ll be perfectly happy to see him embarrass Arteta when we play Fulham.

Yeah! AHale End boy from the age of 10yrs, he came through the ranks from boy to man as well. I know we can't keep them all, but he isa "Quality" player and anyone who is unable to see and use that within a squad is failing in their job. :cussing:

There’s a danger that the clubs that came up could be another Skid Mark 3 this season. All 3 losing today, they all look a bit shit and could easily all go again.

Ipswich must be nailed on after successive promotions

Think they will be this seasons Luton from last year, play some good football, have a go, score, be too open, lose 4-2 etc

Iwobi scores but nobody making a case for we should never have let him go …. :rubchin:

ESR substituted for the second successive game after 60 something minutes … maybe the Fulham manager hates him  and is deliberately trying to ruin his career eh ?

He has had a full pre season, didn’t go to the Euro’s like top players, so had all summer to get fit …
