That was fucking shit all round and Watkins clearly showing how well he'd fit in to our team with finishing that bad.

This is an awful game to watch - no pace or tempo, and both teams content to sit in solid shape

They’re going down quicker than Jordan at a 90s premier league team Christmas party.
Or a 2000's Championship team Christmas party....

Or a 2010's non league team Christmas party....

Or a 2020's pub car park / canal walkway / chipper back wall....

They will continue to give us chances but whether we can do anything with it is another matter entirely.

Martinelli is such a skillful player but something is gone from his game. There is very seldom a real end product. I don't know if Arteta has coached that out of him, or just neglected his development, or if maybe Martinelli has just naturally found his peak and the final product was never really there to start with. A shame really. I had great hopes for him.

Remember when he first arrived.

He was scoring with both feet and head.

The final product is there.

Mcginn is the Rodri of Aston Villa, he seems to be able to do whatever he like with not much scrutiny

I hope so. But then will it take a move and a new manager to get that out of him again? That would be sickening after we gave Smith-Rowe away..... :|
