Re: Other Matches Thread
Plus they’ve taken up the mantle from Chelsea last week giving Frankenstein all the room in the world to ply his trade, when is a defender just gonna put him down for Christ sake, they all stand off him like they’ve money on his hat trick

I just think after 2 successive promotions they’re going to find themselves massively out of their depth. I’d imagine nobody in their wildest dreams thought they’d come straight up again after getting out of league 1. Once t he grind of the season kicks in they’ll be annihilated.IW8Goalmachine wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 4:01 pmGive Ipswich a chance. Re: Other Matches Thread
Muric was awful last season, total liability.watched them quite a bit as one of my local teams and he's error prone making a mistake or 2 a game. Big fck ups like ramsdale but far worse and none of the good bits.
Baffling as belive they made a loan move permanent in summer to keep him when he was always their weakest link. He's utter gash and the guy Walton who played last week and was the keeper in l1 I think but was injured last season I think mostly.
Edit I got that totally wrong they had another gash Eastern European keeper last year hladky who left...music was signed from Burnley...my mistake!

Agreed but they are spalsihing the cash but it seems mostly on players who don't look on paper good enough, championship quality players. Broja won't score the goals they need that's for sure he's crap as well.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 4:21 pmI just think after 2 successive promotions they’re going to find themselves massively out of their depth. The deal for Broja looks like it's off, something came up during his medical for Ipswich

What they need is a striker with premier league experience, the odd England cap, who won’t look out of place when they drop like a stone to the championship….mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 9:53 pmthe playing mantis wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 9:46 pmAgreed but they are spalsihing the cash but it seems mostly on players who don't look on paper good enough, championship quality players. Exactly as my contact at the club said.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 8:05 amMikel Merino has completed his medical as new Arsenal player with clubs exchanging documents, deal being sealed.

Next up, there will be a big surprise before the transfer window closes.

Good to see the Saudi blood money is still good for a dodgy VAR decision or 2 again this season. Nice few quid for the refs again after that.

Disgraceful decision at Bournemouth - a clear winner ruled out.

Hopefully that odious piece of scum Joelinton has his kneecap shattered in the next game.
