ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Some hysterical bint on SSN squealing about Toney and Oshimen going to Saudi - what a forward line for Al Ahli she says in her squeaky voice surrounded by three "influencers" I presume with all their cool cat street talk

Fuck off. Can't wait for the window to end. Too much air time given to these c.unts making football a children's event

Could equally have posted on the Modern Football Bollocks thread

Maybe I'm just old! Getting excited about 2 greedy c.unts officially retiring their ambition in the peak of their careers to play in a league no fucker gives a shit about. Yay, this is progressive stuff

The Independent Via BBC Sports:

Arsenal are weighing up moves for Chelsea's 29-year-old English forward Raheem Sterling or Bayern Munich's French winger Kingsley Coman, 28, having been approached about both in the final two days of the transfer window.

I'm beginning to think that nketieh will end up staying - deal taking too long, jesus injured, and no striker incoming all point to him staying

Chavs signing Sancho. Can someone for the love of Christ please explain to me how what they are doing is possible?

🚨 JUST IN from @kayakaynak97:

Raheem Sterling to Arsenal is looking unlikely today as it stands. ❎

They are selling fringe players for decent money (unlike us). They are spreading contracts over 8 year periods to exploit a loophole in the financial rules (unlike us), and are selling themselves property at vastly inflated prices (unlike us).

The whole thing is built on sand and will come crashing down in the next 5 years.

They nearly went bust under Ken Bates years ago, when we came within a few days of signing John Terry from them, before Roman arrived and plucked them out the shit. This time around they’ll be billions in debt and only a Middle Eastern state will keep them from going under totally. Personally I can’t wait to see it happen.

Chelsea to sell Brazilian striker Deivid Washington - whom they bought for €16m last year - to partner club Strasbourg for a little over €21m, according to L'Equipe. Deivid played 28 minutes for #CFC

Once they've dealt with Cheaty, they'll be under pressure to deal with this lot and their corruption. This is getting beyond even a joke these days.

The problem is that teams like us decide to help Chelsea by signing their cast offs. If the rest of the clubs actually agreed end to let Chelsea sit and stew in the 82 man squad issues without buying or loaning any of their players then the pressure would really be on them.

I've said this before, if other clubs boycott buying from them, they are well and truly fucked

They also sold two Hotels they owned for £76 million to another company they also own.
