ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chavs signing Sancho. Can someone for the love of Christ please explain to me how what they are doing is possible?
Didn't they sell some nobody for 21 million to a club they own

But nothing to see here
They also sold two Hotels they owned for £76 million to another company they also own.
Regardless of the FFP implications, that says to me that they are in financial shit as they are just shifting money and assets around the group structure in order to keep business solvent

Sounds like Merino has a bad injury from training? Fractured shoulder after Gabi M fell on him. Out for a few weeks at least :banghead:

Can we sign anyone? :rubchin:

I used to ring Clubcall up all the time, for absolutely no reason at all. Which, looking back, was probably the whole point of it from the club's point of view. I vividly remember listening to us beat Sheffield Wednesday one Saturday in August 1992 on the radio and then ringing up Clubcall to listen to it in the phone for a few minutes too for some fucking unknown reason. Hard not to see it as some sort of proof of addiction. Didn't really go down well with the old man got the phone bill.

One of my biggest worries has always been that Arteta will be infected by Wengeritis and his lack of activity on the striker front definitely reeks of Wenger. It's incredible in almost 5 years that the best he can muster is to buy a chronically injured and average Jesus and to beg Nketiah to stay a few years ago.

so thats it - season over, star midfielder out for months, no new signings at all, a gaurantee we wont win against a superior brighton team and a gauranteed loss aginst a spurs team boyed by a proper manager and new signings. we will do well to qualify for conference league :banghead:

Not with Eddie strolling around. Clubs a joke. They do 90 % of thr hardwork then fail with the important bits.

We are holding up his deal...crazy. he offers nothing and a academy kid would be more effective.
