ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The joy of flushing Nketiah would be somewhat tempered if we do sign the girlfriend basher Sterling.

It'd be like flushing a big old shit down your toilet only to return an hour later to discover someone with a proper dose of Montezuma's Revenge has anally exploded a truck load of liquid shit all over your toilet, all over the cistern, even splashed the back wall and - sweet cycling Jesus Christ, is.... is that.... fucking hell... is that some splashed up there on the fucking ceiling too?!

🔴⚪️ No fee involved in Raheem Sterling’s loan move to Arsenal.

No option to make permanent either.

Belief at Arsenal they’ve got a great deal when it comes to payment of wages, too.

🚨 BREAKING from @Teamnewsandtix:

Raheem Sterling has been offered to Arsenal. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The player would be willing to take a pay cut. 👍

His situation at Chelsea is incredibly “messy” and it would be a very tricky deal to do. 🎬

Twice for effect ?
Pasted the wrong thing the second time.

I meant to paste this:

🚨 JUST IN from @Teamnewsandtix:

Raheem Sterling’s people have said it would be his “dream” to move to Arsenal. ⚡️

Chelsea want a fee, Arsenal don’t want to pay a fee. Tricky. 🚦

Sadly, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this were true. I mean, we haven't taken our chav cast off so far this summer and with a day left we really need to get moving. It's a double whammy for Lego Head, a chav reject and a City reject that he used to work with....all the boxes ticked. Makes perfect sense, sign him up, fee or not.

:banghead: :banghead:

Just thought I’d bump this. I knew that clown Arteta would do this, as soon as it was rumoured. When there are rumours that we’re interested in a top quality player in his prime, you know it won’t happen. When it’s rumoured that we are looking at a cheap cast off, you know it’s a dot on the cards.

🚨⚪️⚫️ Reiss Nelson to Fulham, agreement done after Ipswich Town deal off!

Documents being prepared to get it done in time.
Seems to be a pattern here. Chelsea dump their outcasts on Arsenal. Arsenal dump their outcasts on Fulham. Where do Fulham outcasts go?

Only Diet Pep and Edutard could leave us with a smaller and weaker squad than when we finished last season.

Utter, utter wankers.

How on earth can they not see what is required? We have one fit striker ffs.

I thought transfer windows under Lord Wenger could be fucking bad, but Jesus fucking wept, this is incompetence of the highest order.

I’m in the minority, I think Sterling improves the squad.

I appreciate had a very poor season at Chelsea and for that reason plus people writing him off I think he will be bang up for it.

He’s 29, not 39, I’m happy with the signing.

Agree that Sterling is a better player than Nketiah.

However I struggle to see how we now win the league with Havertz as our only striker …. :rubchin:

Do you really think he wants to play for the Arsenal, or just to pocket the cash?

Every cast off we take from the Chavs has been a disaster, nothing convinces me this will be any different.

And I reckon this will be the end for Martinelli. He will go the same way as many, many other players Diet Pep no longer fancies. He'll be gone next summer having only cameo performances this season. You can see it coming.
