Not sure which thread it was on or who said it first on here... But purely by chance I caught 10 minutes of the 'Ref Watch' Bollocks on Sly.

They had a poll and over 80% Said the sending Off / Red Card for Rice was Wrong and shouldn't have happened...Guess what Dermot O'Gallagher the PGMOL mouth piece said It was the Right Decision.

AND no they didn't mention the Brighton player kicking the ball away some 40 yards or so Before the Rice incident And neither did they mention or query the Manure player doing the same thing against the ScouseFilth yesterday....

As usual Nothing To See Here So move along ........ :tumbleweed:

I absolutely delight in switching on drogon and watching games on sky, somewhere between a semi and a little wee coming out from uncontrollable excitement. Rat boy neville, spit the scouse, a string of 3 foot Orc lezzer ballers, deadline day, RefWatch.......an utterly unlikeable outfit and it brings me joy not to pay them to watch a match.

Also, I think the Veltman kicking Rice part should have been judged as seperate. He completely lashed him out of it. To me it was violent conduct. The arsehole refs and SlySports will try justify it by saying well he wouldn't have made contact if Rice had moved away and not toe poked the ball, but that is fucking bullshit as Veltman pushed the ball into Rice's heel and then took a step forward to kick him off his feet. Veltman completely intentionally initiated the whole incident. I genuinely hope the little rat gets crippled this season. :censored:

Couldn't watch the game as was playing cricket, my mate though did show me the video of the rice second yellow on his phone just as I was about to go and bat.

Batted for 32 overs so game was finished by the time we finished for teas.

I won't watch it on motd either because I'm sure the usual idiots will say it was the correct decision.

My mate did say we had chances to win the game though so that's frustrating.

Going back to the decision all I can say is this will not happen to anyone else this season especially shitty, scousers, even the spuds.

Reminds me of two other incidents in games that I've never seen since either, Xhaka being sent off for tripping a player up in the oppos half but receiving a straight red for not trying to play the ball, now I'm no xhaka fan but it wasn't reckless, no injury tother player, just a trip, I've seen multiple examples since but never a red card.

The other was obviously the martinelli two yellows in one action of football, never seen it since nor expect to.

Awful decision to send Rice off, just scandalous, I'm not into conspiracy theories but I'm coming round to the fact we are consistently on the receiving end of one off referee decisions, even go back to bellerin being given foul throws against him after it being pointed out by the media, he was given so many against him but no other players were,I bet you will see 20 plus foul throws a week just in the pl, nothing doing though.

Shitty to win it again :|

Here's the sky "experts" 100% having to toe the company line, noone involved in football that didnt have a gun or P45 to their head would have come up with these explanations!!!

DERMOT SAYS: "The players were told at the start of the season that if you delay the restart, you run the risk [of a booking], it was quite clear.

"You think someone else should've got a yellow card, but that doesn't exonerate what he did.

"Two things don't help him. He knows what he's doing, and secondly the touchline - people say he didn't knock it very far, but he knocks it off the field and so they definitely can't restart play.

"Chris Kavanagh has got nowhere to go. The second yellow is mandatory."

STEPHEN WARNOCK SAYS: "Don't give the referee the decision. I don't like it, I don't think it warrants a yellow card, but it does under the laws of the game.

"It's stupid, as well. He knows exactly what he's doing, people might not think he's done it on purpose but of course he has. Don't give the referee the option when you're on a yellow card. Veltman knows too - you know exactly who's been booked in a game."

SUE SMITH SAYS: "I don't like it and I don't think the referee liked doing it. I don't think he wanted to do it, but those are the rules.

"Rice did know what he was doing. He looks down on the ball before he kicks it away. I can understand the frustration, but they have been briefed and he's stopped them playing."

Actually just seen mccoist and Stelling defend rice and condemn veltman pointing out that he had no intention of taking the quick free kick as Brighton had no one upfront to pump it to, they then laughed at veltman saying in the post match interview he was aiming for welbeck, while welbeck was actually helping defend ffs

Eh, from a cursory look about the place he's a bit of a bee in his bonnet over his treatment by the dippers,

I'm not sure it counts if you havent been in the quarter, semi or final, unless of course you subscribe to the "squad getting medals" no matter the involvment......2 minutes sub appearance in a dead rubber group stage game....have a medal son, its the taking part that counts
