How do they manage it, if you were the chief of referees in the league and pulling a fast one, day one lesson one would be “lads when your organising refs to matches a ref must be from…..I dunno 200 miles away from each club in every direction.”

I know they’ll give the excuse of oh but we can’t help where refs are from but you can and you should, a ref should never be local to either team at that level. How do they not get called on it.

Waiting for the game to start. I’ve brought my niece’s 6 year old boy (almost 7) because he’s a Gooner. His first time at the Gunners.

His dad is a West Ham supporter and has season tickets over there for him and the boy, but the youngster obviously has better genes from our side of the family and supports the Arsenal.

His old man isn’t too impressed but n’mind eh?

I’ve deliberately never set foot in The Armoury before, but the boy wanted a scarf so in we went. Fuck me, my idea of absolute hell.

Anyway, let’s hope we get a big win to help nail the Arsenal colours to the lad’s mast.
