I still think Partey is a Weak Link in our team, even when he plays his best there is still that mistake in him: giving the ball away needlessly. He always looks like he is 3 thoughts behind the rest of the team.

Made hard work…to say the least…of a game that we should have won comfortably.
I’ve just read through the thread and as others have said, our lack of a quality, goal scoring target man is glaringly obvious and is going to cost us.

Very frustrating when this team is close to being able to compete at the top level. That said, we also desperately need a top centre mid and I’ve no idea whether Merino is that man, but I have my doubts.

Positives from today:
Gabi scored.
I like the look of Calafiori, who’s big and competitive and looks luke he can play too. Moves like a footballer and crisp, accurate passing. He was caught out of position a couple of times today, but I suspect that was due to Arteta’s “inverted” nonsense.
