From a zoomed out view the xG was 4.99 to 0.27.

If it wasn't for their keeper playing like Yashin reborn and their 2nd being a goal of the season contender, we would've hammered them pretty comfortably I think.

Sometimes the dice don't go your way until the 95th minute unfortunately.
Not having a pop at you here EG1981 mate, but if there is one thing in the modern soccerball version of the game that I absolutely hate, it's that moronic xG concept. :x

Wow! Lev Yashin... That's a Blast from the past!

True, that shot could have gone to Row ZZ at the back, it just so happens on this occasions it hit the post and bounced in... :?

We still deserved the Win.

:D No problem!

Hopefully we can capitalise on the win against Liesester when we play The Paris St. German Soccerfrogs in the World Euro Play-Offs. Maybe we can get another slamdunk goal in the top of the 90th!

Taking nothing away from that strike for their superb 2nd goal, the thing that stood out for me was how shit and slow Partey was on our right trying to track the guy that crossed it. He had enough time to block that cross but was doing Denilson, slowly trotting back, not a care in the world.... :censored:

At one stage yesterday the scum were beating manure 3-0 and the useless ex chav c.unt werner had missed two one on ones and sky put up a stat saying the scum XG was something like 3.97 and I'm thinking "how the fcuk can that be when I have seen them score 3 and should have scored two more" ? Those stats are a load of bollox imo

Maybe because the chance of Van de Ven running unchallenged all the way into their box and squaring the ball to an unmarked Johnson was pretty low and brought the overall stat down. I think the xG stat is intentionally unrelated to the actual scoreline; it's how you're over/underachieving; what the odds say the score "should" be given all the on-pitch stats.

What the computers didn't realise was quite how shit the Manure back 4 are :D

Fucking Dalot just letting him run in and then put his hand up for offside :D Amazing.
