Oh and to add I thought our fans were a disgrace.

Deathly quiet most of the time and moment the team needed encouragement they got none.

Terrible they were.

A word for the psg fans, it takes a special kind of idiot to cheer constantly for 90 minutes while your team gets schooled. Now back on the Eurostar and back down the tunnel like the rats you are.

It is a well known secret that 95% of the psg ultra's (yeah riiight! more like pussies) are all on serious levels of the ole Marching Powder especially for away games.

Mikel Arteta on Jurrien Timber:

🗣️ “He felt something muscular and he wasn’t certain so I didn’t want to take any risks. He’s been out for a year. He’s played a lot of minutes, probably more minutes than we wanted in the last few weeks and we have to mange him.”

Having read the thread, I'm not sure that this will be a popular post on here, but I thought that the performance last night was pretty poor. We got the result and while some think that's all that matters, that's not always true. We are showing a trend of lacking creativity and potency up front.

It's great seeing the danger we now pose from set pieces, especially after 18 years of Wenger viewing a set piece as no more than a way to restart the game, but I want it as an addition to flowing and incisive football and an attacking threat with the ball in play. Havertz did well with his goal last night (best not mention the rest of his contribution), but let's be honest, we'd have been screaming on here if we had conceded those goals last night. as both were soft defensively.

The second half was awful, but throughout the whole game when in possession, our build up was slow with the customary sideways and backwards passing. I fully realise that we are now very strong defensively, but we seem to have sacrificed the speed and fluidity of the season before last. Surely we can be tight at the back without nullifying our attacking game so completely. It was worrying how we sat back very deep in the second half and invited them on, almost in the manner that we did at City. There was no need to surrender the initiative last night and had their effort that hit the bar gone in, then we could well have lived to regret the tactic. PSG were poor, so I won't buy the excuse that they forced us back, it was more of a case of holding on to what we had. A dangerous policy.

Didn't think anyone, other than Raya and Saliba, particularly stood out for us last night and every time I see Jesus he gets fucking worse. Can't judge Merino on a substitute appearance, so best to say nothing yet. Rice is continuing the very average form shown so far this season.

Assuming we can beat Saints on Saturday, I think the international break might be coming at a good time for us, which is something I've probably never said before. Having said that, Saka and Rice need a rest, but I don't suppose we'll pull them out as other sides seem to do.
