Injuries

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

🚨 Martin Ødegaard has reportedly suffered a setback in his recovery and will now aim to return in December instead. 🤕

Why is it players and managers continuously bitch about the amount of games they play, and then be first in line to be picked for the interlull.

Im fast coming to the opinion that its not club or international team to blame here.......its the player, Saka, Rice, Martinelli....they all know whats ahead of them for the season and they all made the personal choice to go and play their respective interlull matches, 2 out of the 3 are crocked and i cant imagine rice being as fresh as he would be had he skipped those 2 England games. Its not like he can claim he's ALWAYS wanted to play for England now is it.

Players need to make the decisions on where their priorities lie, and if they're knackered from "too many games" and still insist on flying halfway round the world on international duty then the player has to take responsibility for that. The club should also remind them whose paying them the real money.

They just dont make them like Havertz and Partey........those lads know the score!

Just thinking may be due to the players contracts...eg able to negotiate a higher rate of pay if an established international...as if they need any extras

I'm hoping this is more of arsenal "dark arts" Letting players go but telling them to complain of an injury so they come back early

Tomi's knee has gone again after playing a few minutes against Southampton, could be facing another month out.

Time to get rid, makes more appearances in the Diaby' Medical suite at Arsenal than he does on the pitch! :banghead:
