He tried to play advantage and then brought it back for the foul which diluted the seriousness of the foul. VAR then sat on the fence instead of sending him to the monitor.
Noticeable change in the attitude of refs this weekend as there’s been fewer cards and they seem to be encouraging the game to flow, whether this is pure coincidence or a directive from above we will find out soon.
