KROENKE OUT / The Board / Staff etc (merged thread)

Apparently Edu has tripled his wages by going to work for the Greek guy.

Rumours now abound... Apparently Arteta said besides a Midfielder his priority was for a Striker, but because the cost would be (at least) £70million and upwards, he was told by Edu who had discussed it with the Kroenke's' that that kind of money for a striker was unrealistic... Since then the once cordial relationship between Arteta and Edu has been strained...

Hopefully we can now get in someone who prioritises doing their job in the Summer instead of going Motor-Skiing

I was wondering how long it would take someone (dont mean you onebard) to start off the narrative that poor arteta is not to blame for the transfer fcuk ups and edu would be thrown under the bus  The cone boy was the one who wanted jesus, wanted zinchenko and wanted fat boy sterling - all players he had coached before coming to AFC, and I doubt if a cup of tea was made in the club without checking with diet pep to make sure he was happy with the brand of milk they were using :censored: :censored:

Was going to create a new thread but I know DB would merge it lol . Lots of reports this morning Edu is leaving , falling out with Arteta or moved on due to poor transfer business and by whom ?

Deserves its own thread imo.

Personally I would fcuk edu and cone boy out on their ear now - transfer business has been a shambles
Agreed but you know DB would move it , Augie you would have sacked Arteta on day 1.

I actually started a thread on it and then had a row with myself about merging it and in the end I deleted the fucker!

This could be the making of a really good thing, as Edu didn’t really seem to be all that good, or the start of an internal crumbling.

It’s been mentioned on here before that the squad doesn’t seem quite happy; I wonder if there’s a lot of discontent behind the scenes.

I know rumours are rumours and seldom true but tbh that bit in red has a ring of possible truth to it I think. But not necessarily they fell out over a striker. I think Arteta never wanted to sign an out and out common as muck top striker because his daft ego told him he was redesigning how the game will be played and he didn't need a striker. But I reckon they might have fallen out over a signing. A clash of entitled egos perhaps? Now it might suit Arteta or someone at Arsenal to imply it was because we didn't sign a striker, giving Arteta an out from his cataclysmic mistake, without him losing face.

Edu is just a slimer gazidis jumping ship before it goes down or the full extent of the incompetence is laid bare.

Arteta the ego will be given full reign and just like wenger appointing gazidis?, arteta will appoint his own boss and not have any accountability at all.

That club will never ever learn…..doomed to repeat one of the easiest football history lessons of all time

I can’t wait for them to announce that Wenger has taken over Edu’s role, and that we won’t be spending anything more than £20m each summer.

🚨BREAKING: Edu Gaspar resigns as sporting director. He’s left Arsenal Football Club TODAY.

Edu: “This was an incredibly hard decision to make. I’ve loved working with so many great colleagues across our men’s, women’s and academy teams, especially Mikel, who has become a great friend. Now it is time to pursue a different challenge. Arsenal will always remain in my heart. I wish the club and its supporters only good things and all the very best.”

I know mate, but it would appear that as soon as the Summer window closed, there was a major falling-out between Edu and Arteta as he (Edu) didn't follow up on other players during the window and so they went elsewhere.

I guess we won't ever know the Full Story, but they have been at Loggerheads since the Summer.

I am just hopeful that they will get someone in who can do a Proper Job and source the players we Need. The guy who does the buying for BHA might be a good choice, if we can get him? WTFK????

I’m not no, I gave up 2 family generational season tickets 3 years before wonga left, I was calling for his head 7 years before that. That man is a cancer that Arsenal FC managed to rid themselves of. If he ever returns I’d be done.

Oh! I Seee! Sorry I misunderstood.

I am 1,000% With You re: Wonga... The first 10 years Were Great... But as we All know due to his Over-sized Ego and Despotic Control Over Everything at the Club he nearly Fucking Destroyed us... We still haven't fully emerged and recovered from that. Which is why? I think Arteta (regardless of his flaws etc) Has done an amazing job to re-unite the Fan Base who let's be honest were at each others throats... they were either TOF OUT! or thought he was a Demi-God

Anyway... If WengerTheCluelessCUNT Ever returned I too would walk away. When he came to a few games last season and I saw the camera's zoom in on him I wanted to put my Foot through the screen!

in other words: Fuck-OFF Wenger you ****! And Never Darken Our Doorstep again! :high5: :box:

Is there anyone on the Chavs staff who is out of contract in the next few weeks because we'll have them in to replace Edu by the end of the week? That or someone who wants to get out of Cheaty before the sanctions hit.

In a more worrying development, I've just read something that has linked that lanky, back-turning, one-decent game ever, cowardly German, Mertesacker with the role. He's already involved with the youth set-up at the club and fits the dying days of Wanker ethos that the club seems hell-bent on recreating.
