How was that not reckless play from their goalie and not given as a penalty?

Joke of a competition and always will be. About as far away from real football as it's possible to be. Handball for nothing but punching a player in the head isn't a penalty. Fucking ridiculous.
You know what the worst thing is about that decision - I wasn’t bothered in the slightest….because it is irrelevant. The whole match is. We could lose 6-0 and it wouldn’t matter because we will still qualify.

All completely pointless- an opportunity to get a half and half scarf for the fans though :barscarf:
And a burger for € 12

If you know your team are never going to win anything meaningful, what's the point of watching?
It's called being a supporter mate. I've watched 50 times worse than this season after season back in the 80's and turned up home and away week in week out. If you seriously need to see a trophy then maybe you ought to watch the World Series and cheer on the Yanks!! 8)
Yes but at least you felt those matches mattered and they were played at normal times and the prices to watch were reasonable too

Absolutely right. Matches of no consequences at all for far too many weeks and months. All part of a 'league' that isn't a league but uses a league table but where teams don't play other teams. Complete joke, total farce and beyond most people's interest level these days.

very true ...should have been there in 1975 when we had a crowd at highbury of 16,500, against newcastle ...also west ham knocked us out of the cup on what was a really terrible day at Highbury

This Ref is Firmly In Their Pocket FFS!

It's just a matter of time before he sends off one of Ours; even though their keeper took out Merino and then ignored Imaginary Card Waving from that Cheating Mummy's boy Lautaro....

Just like playing in the UK
