Re: Other Matches Thread
Aubameyang was 29 when we signed him, and for the first two seasons he was a beast for us. It was only when he had signed a new three-year contract at 31 that he became a problem. Victor is 25, an elite striker at club and international level with his best years ahead of him. It was a colossal mistake not to bring him in. We paid £70 million for bloody Pepe not so long ago!

Re: Other Matches Thread
No guarantee with anything but I think we should have taken a punt on him. I mean was signing Havertz anything but a punt? It's not like Havertz was banging in 20 league goals a year for the last few years so it can only have been a punt. Last season in particular and obviously this one we've desperately needed an out and out goalscorer and maybe this guy could have been that for us.Bob Bayliss wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 10:05 pmAubameyang was 29 when we signed him, and for the first two seasons he was a beast for us. Osimeh is going to frustrate our fans more than Jesus with his tantrums and carelessness in possession. I don’t believe he’s an elite striker either. He’s a bit lazy and wasted so many chances against a pretty average and depleted Tottenham side yesterday.Bob Bayliss wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 10:05 pmAubameyang was 29 when we signed him, and for the first two seasons he was a beast for us. There 's reasons why plenty of clubs in need of a Striker didn't come in for Osihmen ... His personal life impacting on his playing And the way his attitude influences the rest of the team; especially the youngsters being just one of them.

And starting to last the full game because the manager knows how to achieve that.

I really thought he was going to be something special for us.......Martinelli as well. Now he's gone and Martinelli resembles Walcott.IW8Goalmachine wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 5:16 pmAnd starting to last the full game because the manager knows how to achieve that.

Re: Other Matches Thread
Watched the first half of BHA v Cheaty and the Ref's decisions are so biased towards Cheaty it is beyond a joke....
Two fouls exactly try the same: defender pulling back an attacker the Brighton one yellow carded 3 minutes later a Cheaty defender does Exactly the same thing and ref waves it away....
Then a handball by Cheaty defender and guess who is on VARgina??? None other than that bent as fuck Jared Gillet the very same one who fucked us over ... no matter happens this season Cheaty will be assisted to the title

Re: Other Matches Thread
Another clear Pen... Cheaty's walker pushes with Hand in the back; not a nudge of shoulder to shoulder Brighton player through on goal... Gets "Pushed" by open hand and Gillett on VARgina .. says... .......
guess what!?
Yup! Nothing to see here !

Re: Other Matches Thread
City have dominated but didn’t put Brighton away. According to some Arsenal fans’ logic, they need a striker.

This was our year and we didn't get a goalscorer in when we had the chance. We should have been off and over the horizon by now.

City always do this in the first half of the season and then romp home with 18 wins in a row after Christmas.

Always 9 minutes injury time when they’re losing
