Premier League meeting over Man City dispute may be postponed (it now has been postponed/story to be updated)
The above is not related to the 115 charges, it's a PL meeting that was supposed to take place Thursday to discuss the court case last week

Been advised by someone apparently in the know that a decision has been reached over the 115 charges. It will be a 50 point deduction over 5 seasons so on average enough for city not to win the league but for them to still qualify for champions league. Leaving both sides happy...City to continue their revenue stream from champs league and the PL to be shown to being proactive and dealing with it and reinvigorated the league with new champions.....of course I stand to be corrected

is that an actual 10 points a season.....have they ever walked it by more than 10 points? Twice it seems, once by 19 points and another by 12.Linighans there!! wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 12:00 pmBeen advised by someone apparently in the know that a decision has been reached over the 115 charges. A repeat of those seasons would equal no punishment at all.
Doesnt seem like much of a punishment to be honest, more of a cop out to be seen to do something but in reality doing very little.
50 points over 2 seasons would be better!

I'm not saying that I believe that story, but it doesnt make sense to me either ways - forest and everton were not allowed spread their points deductions over a number of seasons, so why would citeeh ?? The only way it would make sense is if they were deducting the points from seasons gone by, and if they started messing up positions and league winners, then you are getting into a real shit storm.
Tbh I have lost all hope of any proper punishment coming down the line because they have already won the case over associated sponsorship deals - that to me has blown the door off its hinges and is basically allowing citeeh and other oil states clubs to circumvent the rules as they see fit. I think for a lot of Gooners this case was going to push into champions bracket again, but tbh I think our chance has passed already - last season I tipped us to finish outside top 4 and we cruised into second, and this season I tipped us to finish second again but am beginning to think that will be beyond us cos we havent looked anywhere near our best in any game this season and appear to be going backwards. I cringe when I see Gooners begging for citeeh to be punished purely so that we can win the league again, but by same token I do find myself having less interest in the 115 charges now because of our own situation

Both sides will try to sweep it under the carpet and pretend they've dealt with it effectively. I can't see how they will be docked points in seasons going forward and quite frankly, if you're going to do that, then you might as well keep cheating even more to make up for the points that you know you're going to be deducted. If they're only going to take 10 off you in the last season, go fucking mad and break every rule because it doesn't matter.
Nobody gives a fuck any more with this. We all know they've been corrupt and fraudulent for 15 years and the Premier League ignored it, much like they ignored the chavs illegal funding, fraud and war criminal owner. Anyone sensible knows that the whole Premiern League 'brand' is a corrupt, greedy, immoral fraudulent criminal racket and there's fuck all we can do. They've only pretended to deal with this now because fir the first time, they've realised that the supporters might actually cause them embrassament with protests and demonstrations. I think they were surprised by the impact of the European Super League reactions from supporters and worry that we'll see similar scenes again. They also know that they have absolutely no accountability and can ignore basically anything they don't like. Whatever pretend, cover-up story they end up spinning to the rest of the world after this charade of a hearing has finished, nobody will believe them. And they know there's nothing we can do. The only hope is that come the end of it, more and more people wake up to the fact that there's fraud and corruption right at the heart of the Premier League and they've known all along and not only indulged and encouraged it, but been behind it.

Government interference in the activities of football associations or leagues is banned under UEFA and FIFA rules. As the Premier League seem to worry so much about administering the "letter of the law", I'd assume they wouldn't have a problem with the two governing bodies banning the national teams of all home nations as a result of this.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 4:00 pmExclusive: emails reveal senior Government ministers & British embassy in Dubai asked for updates on Premier League charges against Man City

Already a stench of don’t upset Dubai because they’re pumping billions elsewhere into the economy about all this.
Could have seen that coming a mile off. Way too much cash swirling around in those circles for them to risk jeopardising it here.

As we said on another thread, the government was also involved in the head choppers taking over the bar codes.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 4:22 pmGovernment interference in the activities of football associations or leagues is banned under UEFA and FIFA rules. UEFA should get involved but they won't. Spanish government with dodgy loans to Real Madrid, Qataris involved with the whores, no doubt the catalans will be cutting the whores some deals, middle Eastern involvement in french clubs. It would open up a fucking beer barrel sized can of worms.
Best to turn a blind eye. C.unts

For this to be happening, they must know something. Cheaty will hopefully be hit with so many claims for compensation by other clubs that they'll go the same way as The News of The World and be shut down. There'll be no end to the claims- teams claiming for prize money they missed out on, Champions League revenue that was missed out on, teams then claiming for Europa League money that they missed out on because they would have finished a place higher without them cheating, teams who got relegated claiming that they would have stayed up if Cheaty hadn't been cheating. This will end them.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 5:56 pmManchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham have lodged legal notices reserving the right to seek compensation if Manchester City are found guilty of the 115 alleged breaches of Premier League FFP rules.
