For me it's over already, mate. Arteta has not got the skillset or the experience to make up the points. His team as he has built it also has not got the required levels to do it either.

It's mid November and I reckon we are out of the race.

I don't consider myself to be a Cultist DB... Well Not since I escaped that High Walled Retreat in California in 1974 Under Cover of Night with a rucksack full of Micro-dots and 8lbs of the best Prime Red Lebanese the world has ever known (*) !

But I do think it is possible for Arteta to turn this season around and actually challenge for the title. I can see the Victims(*) definitely dropping significant points and provided we can wake-the-fuck-up out of the Morose downward spiral of the last 5/6~? weeks, then we definitely stand a chance.


Perhaps I am so desperate to WIN the fucking thing I am just clutching at straws

But we either WAKE-Up NOW...or continue to fuck up the next few games... if the latter then for certain it is all over for this season with regards the title.

I know you're not, mate. But there are a couple on here that will use any excuse to defend Arteta's failings. I actually believe we possibly could win it from this position. I just don't think we can with Arteta as manager. But it would take a new manager with more experience to come in and buy a goalscorer and know when to change things up in-game. As we are, I don't think we can do it, sadly.
