1. Those who run these things... the directors or whatever they call themselves NEED To be seen to be doing something so that they can
justify the exorbitant salaries (AND Bonuses) they pay themselves.

2. They think that by making unnecessary and needless changes this will further convince the majority of fans. ; especially those whose club has never been in Europe before AND Of Course they just get bored, have a board / bored meeting get Totally Shit-Face (All Paid For) on Every Drink Available, Top Grade Ganja and Cocaine... With Hookers and Rent-Boys also thrown in, till someone comes up with some dumb as fuck idea and they all think (in their addled state) "Yes, that'll do it" ... and Kerrchiiiing not only have they been seen to 'Progress' the competition by 'Expanding' it, but they also make a Shed Load of Extra Cash (and so further justify increases in their Salaries and Bonuses).

Can we put out a second string tonight or does it even matter ? If el basque rested/rotated players last Saturday cos tonight is more important, then I will be severely pissed off - yes we won (comfortably in the end) but no-one can tell me that tonights game is more important than the forest game, and after citeeh losing again on Saturday, the shammers game next weekend is FAR more important than tonights game. Personally I would rest 3 of the back 4 from forest game (both full backs and one centre half) and I wouldnt start odeargod and wouldnt play saka at all. I also wonder at what stage is neto going to get game time seeing as he is cup tied in league cup.
