What a difference a week/month can make in football and in many ways we shouldn't be surprised.
We've ditched the lead boots and suddenly can score 13 goals in 3 games. Man City can't buy a win and are defending like a team that have just pitched Djourou and Squillachi together in defence (sorry Arsene, still gives me nightmares). Liverpool are now seen as flattering to deceive to untouchable having gone from 'having played nobody' to seeing off Madrid and City
We all know however that all three of those things can change back just as easily. City are renowned as being the strongest and most consistent outfit post Xmas. It might seem different this time round but its been said before. I don't rule them out of it, albeit I'm delighting in mong boy 'staying humble' like the big Shrek looking retard that he is. I still also don't rate Liverpool - something I'm sure I'm becoming increasingly something of a lone voice with. I think that defence can be got at and the odd injury or two could derail them massively. Daft as it sounds I can see them dropping points in both of their next 2 games at Newcastle and Everton.
With us its just nice to see us back playing great football.....and also nice to see us piss all over these bitter bastards still getting all bitter and twisted about English Dec (almost as bitter as Augie lol
). They wanted Moyes out as he wasn't playing it the West Ham way......well thankfully they've got the right man now because the West Ham way for much of my lifetime was being an irrelevant yo-yo club whose biggest claim to fame was "winning the World Cup" in 66. At least when Forest and Villa sing about being Champions of Europe they're actually factually correct - no matter how long ago it was and how much its done to remind us of our own inadequacies in Europe. These fuckbags won the Papa Johns Trophy of Europe - you know the one that Chelsea's reserves are scoring 6 per game in - and brag about it! Glad we gave them another bitch slap in the athletics stadium so they could all nip off to Westfield nice and early to get their Xmas shopping done !

Can't stand this lot and always great to turn them over.
Very good first 36 minutes, disappointed to concede two goals thereafter and a pony second half.
Never a foul by Rice for their free kick goal in my book, but I also thought that our second penalty was soft. No doubt some will say he clumped him straight in the boat race, but it looked more of a glancing blow to me and I suppose I come from a time when that type of thing was all part of a physical game and you got up and got on with it. Then again, you could clean opposition players out in tackles without the hint of a whistle from the ref. Ah, the good old days.
