I read today that relegation bound Manure are happy to let Rashford go in January. I reckon we'll be in for him as he seems to fit the Arteta model of not being a proper goalscorer and not what we need.

To be honest, I’d take him all day ahead of Havertz, but I agree, he isn’t the typical CF we need.

Personally, Id be delighted if we sign Vlahovic, I think he'd do really well for us.

Dan Ashworth - I just have to say one thing......he was trying to get United to sign Southgate as manager. Nuff said! Walk away Arsenal!!

Sesko 4 goals in 13 game this year - seems a bit meh.

Vlahovic has 6 in 13. Seems to be a 1 in 2 man, scored 16 in 33 last season.

Out of the two it would be Vlahovic for me all day.

How many of vlahovic's goals were pennos ? His stats two years ago looked decent at first viewing, but under closer examination it was found that he wasnt scoring against the other top sides and a good few goals were penalties too

Neither is good enough imo - he isnt everyone's favourite I know that, bus osimhen would be my choice, but if you pay peanuts then you get monkeys, and I dont see us shelling out the big bucks for a top quality striker

I was reading a report about Vlahovic yesterday and it rather concerned me. His manager, Thiago Motta, was saying how he’s pretty dynamic and good in the air, but needs work on his finishing. I can’t judge the bloke, but the last thing we need is to spend significant money on a forward that can’t convert decent chances. We’ve already got two of them.

Like I say, don’t want to judge a guy I’ve seen almost nothing of, but it did raise a doubt. I just wish that for once we’d go out and spend what it takes to sign a tried and tested striker at the peak of his powers. Mind you, not many who tick those boxes at the moment.

Both midfielders though OB, I'd like to see an out and out striker, none of this utility player bollox

Think he could be but his attitude sucks didn't he score 30 odd a couple of season back? Has the talent. If not application.

I know, but I think they could both make a very decent Striker. I guess it's all irrelevant anyway as Arteta won't sign either. :?

BBC Sports:

Arsenal are in danger of losing Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey, 31, for nothing in the summer.

Fine by me, just get shot of the square headed braindead fuck.

I wouldn't call it danger, it's more like luck. :D

What strange wording by the BBC.... :rubchin:

"Danger" of "losing".

Like saying someone is in danger of losing AIDS.
