Palarsepieces H Weds Dec 17th KO 730pm Carabao cup quarter final
Re: Palarsepieces H Weds Dec 17th KO 730pm Carabao cup quarter final
I managed to get to this game last night for the first time in years. I want to thank the drummer below me who didn't stop drumming all match and managed not to have one of his drumsticks shoved up his arse. What a lovely couple next to me who decided to talk about everything other than the match. I enjoyed the clap clap clap Arsenal song that is usually sung by school children. The no swearing at the large contingent of Palace fans rule was also well observed. Overall a pleasant evening only the hour-long wait to get away from the stadium and nearly missing the train back up north threatened to ruin it. Odegaard was a class act in the 2nd half.

Us against Newcastle, we're drawn at home for 1st leg

Should be good enough to beat Newcastle.
The two legged format needs to be scrapped.

Bruno Guimarães and Fabian Schär are suspended for the first leg at the Emirates.

Need to win it in the 1st leg.
Make them have to chase something in the 2nd leg

That would bring back memories of 87 - the Charlie Nicholas finalPerryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 10:50 pmYeah, scrap the two-leg nonsense and play a semi-final at a neutral venue. Get the job done and do the dippers in the final.

Guimaraes being banned is a huge miss for them. We should try to put it to bed in the first leg, get a 4 goal lead and we'll be ok up there!

As it's at home he'll deffo play the B team so that he can play the B team again at theirs if we win.

Always nice to be in a cup semi, even if it is the one that not many people value anymore. Fair fucks to Jesus - he's been absolutely gash for a year or more but he took all 3 goals very nicely. Some will say they were all good chances but so were the ones he missed against Monaco last week!
Can't have the Spurs of the North winning a trophy so look forward to knocking out their fat, beer bellied arses over the two legs. Kicking machine Bruno G missing - not sure if that's advantage to us or them, What anyone sees in that geezer is beyond me - like a foreign Kalvin Phillips the ponderous, fouling turdbag! If we signed him for mega money I guarantee within a couple of months our entire fanbase would be hating on him more than they do with Havertz
Isak however is the real deal when he's fit so definitely the man to look out for.
Hopefully big fat Ange can do one against the dippers because we've never had the pleasure of beating the vermin in a cup final and its one of the things on the 'must see' list before my time is up on the planet

Good call SteveO... My only concern is his ability to stay fit.... Perhaps he might sustain his fitness in a Better Team like Ours?SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 11:17 amAlways nice to be in a cup semi, even if it is the one that not many people value anymore. Really Good News...especially re: Guimarães the very same DirtyFuckCunt who elbows Jorginho in the side of the head as he ran past him, but of course the CorruptCUNTS in VARgina didn't even give it a second glance.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 10:50 pmBruno Guimarães and Fabian Schär are suspended for the first leg at the Emirates.
We need to Rip These Gobby Twats a New One and then Finish the Job at their Toilet of a Ground.

I really liked how Tierney played.
His pass for Sterling was right on the money.
He provides another option for the left wing.
I'd have taken up the option for another 12 months but would have negotiated a wage decrease
