I think Arteta has a huge hard-on for Sesko. Wouldn't be my choice at all, I think he needs another 2 years at least to prove himself.
I would take Osimhen or Vlahovic. There's rumors of Rashford being willing to take a big pay cut for the right move. If the fee was no more than 40m and wages were not more than 200k a week, i'd take a gamble on Rashford.
I know it's a big risk as his mind may not be on footy at all but if we look at Potential, Rashford could be perfect for us ........ But it is a big gamble.
Must say TeeCee you have a very unique way of putting things
From the little I've seen of Sesko he's not good enough. Agree on the Rashford thing, he IS a Player still has bags of pace and can finish, he could either be played through the centre; which he did really well with manure 2 seasons ago scored something like 30 goals?...It would be a Gamble, but I think Arteta could bring the best out of him, give him his confidence back, also he'd be with fellow England players, Saka, Decca's and White. ...AND he could be the catalyst to kick Martinelli up the rear, so that he has to fight for his place. But Hey! What do I know.
Tend to agree with both of you. Sesko looked poor at the Euros, although I've seen nothing else of him. I might be tempted by Rashford too, but as you say, it's quite a gamble.
I’m warming to the idea of Isak. Probably our best option out there and it looks like Newcastle have to sell players to balance the books. If we can snatch him in January, he could be a real game changer for us.
Can Rashford track back and “work” for the team? If he can then bring him in.
Rashford has proved one thing in the last 2 seasons that he can't score goals, so please don't take a chance with him. he'd just want huge wages and do nothing to improve our team.

I'm torn on rashford tbh - I still believe that there is a quality player in him and he brings pace which I value so much, but the question is if his head is gone so far now that there is no getting that player back
Regardless I will say that I wouldnt sign him next month anyway - he has a clear preference for playing on the wing rather than in the 9, and imo it is a striker we need more than anything else.
