This situation with Saka was completely avoidable but has been an accident waiting to happen.
Quite simply he has played too many matches.
There has been no point in him playing every CL match for example. Absolutely ridiculous.
Arteta being totally exposed this season as a very poor manager. It’s pointless with him in charge, we will just continue to win nothing. Trust the process? And how long has Slot been at Liverpool ?
The CL is not some easy competition like the conference league where you can field second strings like the chavs are doing. We need to field a strong side to go for automatic qualification. It means we play fewer games and can rest players later. Saka’s injury is not all down to club football. He’s been overplayed at international level too and this is where he picked up the original injury.
Liverpool have also had their fair share injuries but in Salah they have the game changer which we lack. Their squad is superior to ours, thanks to the significant strengthening work that Klopp did last season. Slot has probably inherited the strongest squad by an incoming manager at a major club in recent history. Despite finishing 3rd last season, they lost fewer games than us and had a 5point lead at the top of the table at some point.
Just pay Nico Williams escape clause and be done with it!! Top 4 could even be in danger without Saka's goals and assists. I'd say we need 2 signings now, a striker AND winger/attacking midfielder!
Re-Williams. I don’t think money is the issue. He doesn’t want to leave Spain apparently and has a desire to play for Barca. Most likely going to be loan moves in Jan

Adrian Durham is a bit of a helmet but he went in two footed on beegee hair earlier.. Whatever his inexplicable deterioration is down to, he is definitely better on the right than the left. He seems more inclined to take on defenders on the right, as opposed to stopping and coming back. Probably not confident trying to cross with his left foot.
