How does that work when play was stopped when noone has possession, and the ref says the drop ball should be given to Ipswich? 😏
The famous laws of the game which only apply to us of course, state that the team who last had possession get the uncontested drop ball when play restarts. Also, it has to be touched by at least two players before a goal can be scored.

Yeah, and look where Stoke are now. I'm sure they're still wanking over a couple of Rory Delap long throws (if you're watching on Amazon you may have just heard what they're talking about)

Funny how all that shit wasn't "dark arts" was it? As far as I can remember it was all hilarious and served our bunch of foreigners right for trying to play football in England.

Doing enough but it would be nice to have a couple more to not have to worry about the usual chasing a winner.

I can’t blame them, by and large it’s been tedious shit with the very very occasional glimmer here and there.

Again to many average performances to convince that a title challenge can be a reality

Muddy pitch the width of a swimming pool, towel sewn into the jersey to dry the ball for those throw ins.........what a shit side, one of the absolute worst. Don't even know what league they are in now. Who cares.

Got the match on my TV and the darts on my iPad.
I was more interested in the darts than that 1st half

That sums it up completely.

Cmon Arsenal, you need to up the pace. It's no good having 83% possession if you do nothing with it.

It's so difficult to break down 11 men in defence. I understand they don't want to be thrashed but for fucks sake, it's not football, they aren't even trying. It's embarrassing for them to be honest.

Well need to bring on Nwaneri because someone dribbling past their man is what will open them up

It's been an awful game so far mostly cos ipswich are playing very defensively but we are too slow/flat - with exception of the goal trossard has been anonymous, odeargod has carried on his shit run of form, rice playing as DM negates what he does best, havertz doesnt contribute enough as a midfielder, and I know that he is working hard as usual, but jesus is anonymous too

Yup! The best part of that First Half; other than the goal... was when Timber went weaving through the middle... We need to draw them narrow THEN use the flanks...otherwise this will continue to be  :goingtobed:

I see they've got a woman commentator on there this year.....one with an industrial strength accent. Commentates on her own, probably because nobody else would get a word in anyway. Rabbits on incessantly......... :blah: :blah: :blah:

Lewis-Skelly had a great chance to whip in a cross but again chooses to do a sidewards pass - the only ways we can get at these is either getting more width or actually run at them like odeargod did in first mins of second half. Passing sidewards endlessly is into their barrow ffs :banghead:

I can only assume that the laws of the game don't apply tonight and "simulation" doesn't lead to a booking, otherwise it would appear that the ref isn't actually following the "letter of the law".
