Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Jammy tossers. Every deflection falling to them and shots rolling off the post across the goal line.

We spent 2 seasons up against a city team who never lost a game and when they finally collapse the victims take their place and win every single fucking week now :suicide:

They don’t though. They drew with Fulham and Newcastle.

Cmon the Hammers.

I have to say it although don't hold much hope.
You jinxed it mate! :D

Mind you that bit of skill by Salah that lead to their second goal was incredible!

Fuckin' shammers may as well concede the game now... they really are SHIT.

Another easy win for these *word censored* They don't play til the 5th(another piece of piss at home to manure) so today they are laying down a marker and asking us if we're good enough/mentally strong enough? to go to Brentford and Brighton in the space of 72 hrs and pick up maximum points :rubchin: I get the feeling without Saka we will struggle to respond

West Ham looking punch drunk as per usual. They lost their soul the moment they gave up Boleyn and moved into the council house. That pitch always looks a bit too narrow and doesn’t suit their game

Yeah hard enough for us to moan about how shit they are when our last 2 visits there the aggregate score was 50 nil.

Couple of draws here and there, city would do that. Just the one defeat all season - thank fuck for Forest or I’d be getting worried.

Everything seems to be going for them doesn’t it. I don’t buy the idea that they’ve suddenly come out of nowhere Leicester style and marching towards the title. They lost fewer games than us last season and had a 5point lead at some point. They’ve always been hovering around the title, and we are simply not good enough to launch a City style pursuit to overhaul them. They are heading for 85-90points at this rate, which means we need at least 90 - a mark we haven’t hit for donkey years. If the club magically shows serious ambition by strengthening in Jan, we might have a chance but it’s a long shot. Fully expecting a fallout after the Brighton game and pressure back on Arteta.

Fair chance they could hoover up all the trophies  That's the worry I have.

Have they played any side in form apart from Forest? Every side seems to be on the turn when they play the Scousers. Even we had no centre back pairing and no Odegaard. Sometimes it’s written although we are ticking along playing shit. What if we click and they hit a bad run. Or if Salah gets injured? Just keep plugging away. See what happens. We never do it the easy way.
