Is Olmo super quality? Seen is and others very lightly linked should he cancel Barca contract. Vaguely recall he looked decent in Euros

Obviously still need a striker...

Signing another centre mid, even though we desperately need one, will mean Arteta admitting that he made a mistake and wasted £30 million + on Merino. Remember him? He’s the bloke that we tracked for weeks in the summer and who now struggles to get a game ahead of the liability Partey and the geriatric Jorginho.
What is this you Speak of? "Olmo" ?!!!

One of the papers today has us and citeeh battling to sign zubimendi from sociedad (again  ) next month - signing danny olmo on the face of it would be a good signing cos he is a good player and an attacking midfielder, but trying to sign zubimendi AGAIN would be the ultimate "we didnt want merino" at all imo.

I say this with total sincerity, but if we do not sign a proper quality number 9 next month (not a guy who can play there but is more of a winger  ) then I do not want us to sign any player at all. I do not want this fool pissing away any more money on average/shit players, and I do not want him signing players for positions where there is no need - I accept that some of the signings have been very good (timber and calafiori) but overall I dont rate him as successful in the transfer market, and his refusal to buy a proper quality striker should have him sacked already. What is really galling is his refusal to get rid of sub-standard players who are basically yes men to him - if they are not good enough to play, then get rid of them cos they are cluttering up the place

That cut-price offer for Rashford might be getting more and more likely. Choppers won't be listening to offers for Isak whilst they still have thoughts about Champions League football next season, anyone worth their salt in European football will cost a fortune and unless we've got someone lined up already, will be a fucking nightmare to complete by the end of January so I'm starting to think we'll get him in as a desperation move from both parties. He wants out of that fucking mess up there and we need someone up front. Both sides will know it isn't what they actually want or need but it will do. I reckon if they accept 60-70m and he takes a wage cut, it will happen.

As desperate as we all are for a decent goal scorer, I don't think Rashford is the answer. If he turns up on a wage cut he'll be phoning in performances just like the fat little handbag waver

There must be a better option for 60-70m. But given our recent history I fear you might be right Perry. It may prove whether Diet Pep or Edu was responsible for signing the deadwood

No chance. We are after a winger.

Would rather have Anthony Taylor. Would be useful to have on our side.

I can't see Cheaty letting him leave but we could get that David Coote in on a free.

Someone who Arsenal may go for.....Nkunku at Chelsea, he fits the bill.....

Ex-Chav
Often injured
Chavs don't want him

But in all seriousness, if he could stay fit, he is a very decent player....if.......

And like us he hates the victims*

And he is currently un-employed, which is ironic seeing as he does hate the scousers :D

From Give Me Sport:-
The Gunners were heavily linked with a new wide forward arrival before the new season and were reportedly considering Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, before they opted for a late loan move for Sterling.
Just how wrong is that? Jeez!
