So where do we go from here?
Can't afford to sack the manager
Even if we could no obvious replacement
No money to buy players
Even if we had nobody sells in Jan

Looks like we're stuck with what we've got
Just need something to drop our way otherwise we'll finish outside Europe

The biggest problem with losing Saka is not that we lost our best attacking player, it’s that we lost our only attacking player.

Odegaard cliff edged, Trossard cliff edged, Martinelli finished.

Saka’s injury has sunk us because we’re left with a bunch of limp dick wonders who need 50 chances a game to score.

Rodders as much as you slate martinelli (and I do understand most of it), but the reality is that again tonight he offered far more than odeargod and trossard combined - he never stopped working and never hid unlike the other two cowardly c.unts. One incident summed up our captain in a nutshell - from yet another aimless cross into the box a geordie header seen the ball dropping out towards odeargod at the edge of the box but instead of going towards it, he backed away like a pussy and jesus had to come and try to win it and he gave away a free

Can't score to save our lives but the incompetent in charge thinks we don't need a striker, it's astounding :suicide:

Whole fucking world knows we want a goalscorer so nobody will sell us anyone at a price that we would pay. Rashford 45m on a three year deal at the end of the month. You just know. He needs a flattrack bully performance like the old cûnt used to have. Might get that against the scum next Wednesday.

Awful to watch - back to 2020 lockdown season or the back end of Wenger's days

Slow, predictable, tip tap shite

Burn made to look like Baresi

Pathetic disgraceful display - literally as bad as GG mid 90s and Wenger final year

Just fuck off and half these loser *word censored* can sling their hook too

Yet another game where we are punished for not taking our early chances

Name one fucking team that's ever achieved anything without a proper goalscorer?
Man City won the title without one actually but they had about 5 midfielders who all got double figures in goals. Gundogan got over 20 that season I think.

I was thinking them but as you say, that were smacking them in with attacking midfielders every week so didn't really even need one. We manage about two a season from the whole midfield and that's a penalty and a deflection from a half-cleared corner.

Don't take the piss TeeCee mate!

That was an exception beyond exception. A fluke in a way. They were lucky to have that many midfield goal scorers. The vast vast majority of title winning teams have always had a 20+ league goal scoring striker in their team minimum. Some had two.

Exactly right and even when we had great strikers we had midfielders who weighed in with a dozen goals each - Freddie, Pires etc

Odegaard looks like he'll struggle to ever score again, ditto Rice, Partey, Merino etc

Martinelli looks spent and Trossard awful for months now

Terrible to watch at the moment

He was by far the best of our attackers tonight Augie (that’s a fucking low bar though!) but it’s still miles short of what we need. He slung in a few half decent crosses but that was about it. Didn’t beat his man, didn’t create space for himself to get a shot off and missed a huge chance in the first half that nobody in the stadium expected him to score.

I just expect him to miss those type of chances every time he gets them and he rarely disappoints. The goal he scored against Brentford when he has no time to think is when he’s at his best - just bang and it’s in before he even knows it

Running through on goal tonight I knew he’d miss. I have no confidence in him and he has no confidence in himself. That’s why he passes the ball backwards rather than take his man on 99% of the time.

He’s definitely the player that annoys me the most because it’s not just a slump he’s in, this shit has being going on over 2 years now. His output is nowhere near the level required and we need to upgrade that position as a priority.

We were by far the better team. Didn’t take our chances and got caught twice. Odegaard pushed for their first. A foul. Talk of sacking Arteta is way over the top.
