Always a loan move, isn't it. Two years or more to get a striker in and we're fucking about begging again.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 7:50 amArsenal discussing internally a loan move for Dusan Vlahovic.

Arsenal retain a strong interest in Benjamin Sesko as one of their striker options. Sesko sold on the #AFC project last summer but chose to extend at Leipzig since he felt staying was best for his short-term development. Unclear if Sesko could be persuaded to move mid-season.
Gabriel Jesus set for long spell out with suspected ACL rupture. Further specialist reviews on 27yo striker planned today to establish full extent. Arsenal open to doing business - overseas loans seem most likely route for #AFC at present @TheAthleticFC

Concrete talks have already taken place with the player’s management in the last days and are ongoing. The 28y/o left-back is keen to leave Arsenal.
Gunners open for a loan with an obligation to buy of approximately €20m. #BVB had already shown interest last summer.

This can't be possibly true, I've been hearing from all the new AKBS how Arteta managed to sneak him out from under Pep's grasp a few seasons ago. Surely a player of this calibre could not be surplus to requirementsmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 10:39 amEXCL | Borussia Dortmund are exploring a deal to sign Oleksandr #Zinchenko!

Are we also getting another goalkeeper? Can't imagine we can go a summer without signing at least another two or three.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 12:04 pmEXCLUSIVE: Arsenal to land Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi at the end of the season.

Well, you all think that Kai Havertz is absolute pony, but it turns out that his wife is pregnant. Just imagine how bad he's going to be when the baby arrives!!

My missus and I had our kids a year apart. So when she had the second one we had a one year old toddler to deal with too. I was working nights, the missus working days (before and after the miserable couple months maternity leave she was entitled to) and neither of us got suddenly shit at our jobs - or used it as an excuse!![]()
What??!!
You mean you didn't walk into the boss and tell him that you were "the type that gets involved at home", so you might be working "less than 100% for a few months"??
Why ever not? I'm sure he'd have understood.

Dear Mr. DB,
Many heartfelt congratulations to you and your dear wife on this wonderful addition to your family.
Best wishes,
The Boss
Ps. Kindly collect your cards when you finish your shift today. We hope you'll enjoy all the extra time you'll now have to get involved at home.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Cock features is now obsessed with making his 5-5-0, 4-6-0 formation work and will just blindly keep buying midfielders, defenders and keepers
It really is Wenger revisited. Back then shit for brains decided to bin the approach that had served him well up to 2008 and go all "Spain lite" trying to build a winning team from technical players only. Sadly for Wenger he tried to do with Denilson not Xavi, and Coquelin not Iniesta
Roll forward all these years and cock features fanboys will tell you how City won league titles galore without a centre forward whilst overlooking that Bernardo, Gundogan, De Bruyne and Rodri were a slight upgrade of Merino, Jorginho, Trossard etc
The bloke is a total c.unt and if the Kroenkes are prepared to lavish him with millions more then they are as braindead as they were when shit for brains spunked millions on utter c.unts whilst gradually taking us further and further backwards

Good player BUT Just as it was with Wenker it's always Tomorrow or the next window or whatever!... I'm waiting for Arteta to come out with that eternal phrase... We Tried to Sign ... or We Nearly signed such and such...

What a load of Bollocks.
