Talking of set pieces I noticed liverpools equaliser was an exact copy of our routine, blocking the keeper off.

Except var didn't review it for a foul for five minutes

Whilst the commentators wanked themselves bandy over the greatest substitution in the history of football without a shred of bias

Tonight will tell us a lot.

Whether Diet Pep has the cajones to find a way to beat a shite scum team... :rubchin:

The reaction in the ground if we lose... :rubchin:

The reaction if we win... "there's only one ArsenTeta".... :rubchin:

The tool doesn't have the credit in the bank and I think the flipfloppers may get off of the AKB train

Sadly apathy will strike first :(

Can't remember being as disinterested in a NLD, we won't catch the victims despite them looking increasingly shaky and sperz are so far behind us and so shite that they won't be anywhere near top 4.
0-0.

Absolutely no excuses for not winning and winning well tonight. They are shit, completely shit and we should be looking at this as a way of getting back into form. Anyone playing up front tonight should be thinking about a couple of goals at least.
If this doesn't end in a comfortable win, then fuck me, it will be open season and more on Arteta. And he'll deserve it.

0-0.
Feel exactly the same way. The two cup surrenders have knocked the stuffing out of me. Normally get a mixture of pumped and nervous on NLD day, but completely 'meh' about it. A match between two sets of losers - whoever wins preserves the life of their manager, whoever loses suffers a little bit more humiliation in seasons that are already a laughing stock. 0-0 would be fitting, but we're conceding in this for sure. Whilst Havertz and co have rightly taken a load of stick for the Man Ure debacle, it has taken the spotlight off our defending in those two cup games which was nothing short of awful

I wont be watching...which will come as a relief to forum members who dont like the negativity i tend to have mid game.

Normally there would be no event that would come close to playing this lot at home and historically i'd have cancelled anything that would interfere with this fixture.

But do i have better things to do than watch each Arsenal player take 10 touches and then pass the ball back or sideways...yes i do.

Will i be sick as a dog having missed it if we put in a shift and throttle this lot.....yes i will!!

I might watch the first half but the Traitors is on at 9.

Watching the useless "faithfuls" in this series try and fail to catch a traitor is like watching Havertz trying to put away simple chances.

Yes, an interesting evening awaits. I’m strangely ambivalent, but as I’ve said previously, I’m now in the “don’t give a fuck zone”, where I spent comfortably 8 yrs under the Old Fraud. That said, this is the one I can’t bear to lose.

I’m in Bella Italia for a couple of days, supposedly for business, but mainly looking at women and dining well. Anyway, I’ll be late to the result party, as it’s impossible to get a signal in the restaurant I’ll be in. I wonder what surprise will await when I emerge and check my phone? This place might well be alight.

By the way Nick, I’m afraid that I’m stealing that “ArsenTeta” term. Quality. :barscarf:

I’ve got various thoughts on the match tonight.

Yes it is hard to have much enthusiasm for it after recent performances. However Arteta is following the tried and tested formula of the last 2 seasons (get knocked out of domestic cups early and do focus on the league).
It is actually so frustrating…..because had we got the team off the last 2 seasons we are actually right in the title race, and chasing down Liverpool is not like chasing down the Manchester City team of the past 2 seasons.
And then reality kicks in and you remember we only have one fit striker :banghead: and his name is Kai Havertz :banghead: :banghead:
And then you give up…..

But finally the schedule ….it is absolutely crazy. After taking an age to play Premier League games from August to December due to international breaks and meaningless CL fixtures, look at what we have had to contend with in January - league cup, FA Cup, 2 huge league games in 3 days.
Absolutely ridiculous :cussing:

If we win this we would be 4 points behind(despite their game in hand) a L'pool side that are nowhere near the juggernaut that was City the last few seasons. However between the absolute calamities in several transfer windows from the cùnt in charge and his obsession with trying to win without a striker, a win will be nothing more than a temporary release from the shitshow that is the current state of the club :( still hope we absolutely smash them though :barscarf:
