Deccers talking bllx. Kai is utter liability tourists might cheer. He has faith in our strikers. Loser mentality.
Surely you know he ain’t gonna coat him off? What do you think he’d say -
“Yeah, all of us think he’s shit but who else have we got?”
Yeah I know. But no need to be so effusive and say the real fans in the stadium vs social media.Anyone with a incompetent team mate be it sport or work undermining everything the team does detests them and wants them to buck up or f off.
In fairness to rice he was answering questions about a team mate who's partner had been sent vile threats against there unborn baby. Fuck him missing a goal. That is out of order.
Declan was right...no arsenal fan would say what was said. The question was loaded...yes, but lets be honest any platform supporting that vile should be shut down

Sorry should say, if that is from non foreign fans that is a bigger worry. But easier to say foreign than fans that turn up week after week.

Tonight will tell us a lot.

Whether Diet Pep has the cajones to find a way to beat a shite scum team... :rubchin:

The reaction in the ground if we lose... :rubchin:

The reaction if we win... "there's only one ArsenTeta".... :rubchin:

The tool doesn't have the credit in the bank and I think the flipfloppers may get off of the AKB train

Sadly apathy will strike first :(

0-0 bore draw incoming

Yes, an interesting evening awaits. I’m strangely ambivalent, but as I’ve said previously, I’m now in the “don’t give a fuck zone”, where I spent comfortably 8 yrs under the Old Fraud. That said, this is the one I can’t bear to lose.

I’m in Bella Italia for a couple of days, supposedly for business, but mainly looking at women and dining well. Anyway, I’ll be late to the result party, as it’s impossible to get a signal in the restaurant I’ll be in. I wonder what surprise will await when I emerge and check my phone? This place might well be alight.

By the way Nick, I’m afraid that I’m stealing that “ArsenTeta” term. Quality. :barscarf:
Hi Retro....where abouts in Italy are you?

Hi RA 2, I’m in Florence.

Just got back to my room and checked the result. Haven’t yet read the match thread, but had started to do so and saw your post.

I’d looked for the result on the BBC website and glanced at the match report before looking at the forum. Seems we won with an og ftom a corner and a bobbly shot from Trossard that the keeper should have saved.

I trust the views of the boys on the OG (well, most of them :D ) so as I’m an hour in front of you lot, I’ll try to read it all tomorrow.
Nice one Retro...

That was a fuckin massive win lastnight :barscarf: We weren't brilliant but we were better than them for sure.Sterling was utterly shite FFS he's the worst I can remember in our storied jersey  what a stupid waste of money he is.Gabriel and Lewis Skelley were the top performers :barscarf: the young lad gets it cos he's one of us and I love that 8) This is a game that could easily have went the wrong way for us so I'm just glad we pulled it out of the bag in the end :barscarf: Game at a time lads game at a time.

did legohead take the opportunity to play Tierney left wing as a bit of a transfer dig at the board, i figured it was general knowledge Tierney was on his way out so the fact he was put on.....was it tactical by arteta to prove how much he needs some signings?

We are playing every 3days with an injury hit squad so we need to use every player. Arteta doesn’t need to prove to the board that we need signings. What a strange post. Some of you are hellbent on putting a negative spin on anything, even after a massive win against the enemy smh

Im sorry, i didn't realize you held a high ranking managerial/board post at the football club and had access to what Arteta needs to prove and doesn't .
I would have thought it completely normal for a manager to have to prove to the board that he needs money spent. I'd also go so far as to say that if the manager wasn't getting his way and felt the money wasn't going to be spent that he'd be astute enough to ...i dunno play a player he doesn't rate and whose on his way out the door to justify his position.

Im also not sure its a negative spin, its actually paying legohead the compliment of doing what needs to be done in whatever manner is at his disposal. Good man legohead if thats what he was up to, see...no negativity at all.

so not really such a strange post at all, perhaps its strangeness comes across as such to those with limited understanding of it, which couldnt be you could it...what with you running the club and all!

Deccers talking bllx. Kai is utter liability tourists might cheer. He has faith in our strikers. Loser mentality.
Surely you know he ain’t gonna coat him off? What do you think he’d say -
“Yeah, all of us think he’s shit but who else have we got?”
This ^^

Some comments on here are cringey as fuck
Yes we all do some time, very few on here not posting. stuff that some find cringey as fuck over the life of the forum, but we don't all dig others out for it like some feel the need to.

I clarified my comments but hey ho.

Agree to a certain extent and of course the abuse is out of order but as dB and others said so is using it as an excuse like xhaka did, sadly they get horrific abuse whatever happens however they perform, easy way is not look at toxic social media.

But just seemed a unnecessary dig from deccers and to me suggested a worrying disconnect from the players to the fan base. Those in the ground are mostly tourists. I retain 2 STs and those around mostly share the views held here. Some don't.

Anyway I just didn't like that dig

How was it a dig? Rice is very clever with his words. He want's the fans in the stadium to be onside, so he's going to say something like that isn't he?

And you talk about football tourists, I sit in the North Lower and sometimes in the Clock End Upper. The people who frequent the immediate vicinity are and have been long standing season ticket holders and followed the club for decades. The football tourists usually end up in Club Level, because those tickets are the most accessible, just look at the seat availability through ticket exchange for the Man Utd game last weekend. Nothing in the upper or lower tier, loads in Club Level.

The ballots have by an large flushed out a lot of football tourists.

I haven't heard what Decca's said, but he's a genuinely nice lad or seems to be and so I'm sure he said what was needed without stirring a shit storm. Even so anyone saying the things that were posted on X/Twatter and th like about Havertz and his wife was nothing but Evil and a Disgrace.
