I still say that Tielemens would have been a brilliant signing last summer (especially on a free) but he is neither defensive enough, nor does he pass sidewards and backwards enough for this clown
Think he's a nothing player like merino yes he scored and hit post but didn't stand out against our weak cm of merino and 18 year old (class as the 18 yr old was)

Unfortunately we will NEVER EVER win the league again in most of our lifetimes...there are just too many vastly superior teams

The club is rotten to the core, from top to bottom. The Kronkes not wanting trophies or spending proper money

A worthless intern hire of a 'head coach' who has clearly lost the dressing room and the proper fan base

Players who are so soft and have no skill or drive

And worst of all, customers in the stadium who have no passion for the game
Are you on drugs?!
Your usual intellectual WUM response?

Absolutely no chance arteta is going anywhere when you look at where we are in the table especially compared to the other big sides. Just frustrating that we’re a few players away from the title.
Yep but the fear is we will remain so as we did multiple times during wengers time.

And the managers decisions and tactics are massive concern now
We are back where we were in 2008...always a couple of key signings away from being the finished article. We used to laugh on here about the never ending project and this one has been running for 5 years now. The next chapter of the story, as was the case back then, is that the very best players leave and the puzzle gets harder to complete
Saliba will be gone within a year for sure and that breaks up one of the best CB partnerships around

Can anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of physics tell me how that ball hits the underside of the arm and gets deflected UPWARDS?

I honestly thought it was his ribs,I thought he twisted just enough to miss the arm,ref couldn’t wait to overturn it though could he
Watch the camera from behind the goals. It deffo hits his right arm. To me though it's accidental and a disgrace the rule is what it is.
Havertz did nothing to influence that ball, he was trying to get out of the way tbf. The decision sucks ass big time.
Yep. But the rule is you cannot score with your arm or hand so any touch rules out the goal. Sucks ass indeed.
Is that so even if arm is tight flush against body when it hits/brushes it?

Did you see the two passes he hit watkins with in the first half ? Second one he put him in behind gabriel, and the second one (from just outside their penalty area) almost put him in with a ball that split our two centre backs. My point is that he looks forward and releases the ball early to feed his forward line - sometimes it might look "direct", but you ask any forward player whether they would prefer Tielemens feeding them, or any of our midfielders feeding them, and to a man they would pick tielemens imo

Saliba gone within a year ?? Will he even be here next season ? :rubchin: The madrid rumours are already starting, and when we collapse and win nothing again this season, those links/rumours to madrid will go into overdrive

It doesnt matter how tight his arm is to his body - by the rules once it touches his arm the goal cannot stand

Words of wisdom coming up

"Unbelievable that we didn't win that game"

As predictable as Wenger's special circumstances and leetle bit jaded physically

Well I'm not a referee because I couldn't sustain that level of cuntiness but my understanding is yes that is correct. Makes no difference.

If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that in the last 10 years.............

We always need a defensive midfielder, a couple of red hot backs, a world class CF. The money becomes available, we go out and fill those positions with sub-standard dross, coupled with our seasonal purchase of at least two absolutely dreadful midfielders. The list of lower league midfielders on our books is mind numbing.

And I said it 3 weeks ago.........Merino, as a player, is the reincarnation of Arteta as a player......Dull, uninspiring, unimaginative. Just there
