ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Villa signing players. Forest making bids. West Ham making bids. And yet we have searched high and low and can’t find anybody.

Again I say that the water boy should not be given any more money to spend cos no doubt he will piss it away.

A proper big club would be contacting napoli now and pointing out to them that chaleski are going big after garnacho, and that if napoli want him then they had better get in quick - with that in mind we would like to help you so how about we agree a quick £45m fee for Osimhen now ? 8) We would get the top striker WE NEED, napoli would get money that they need to go after the player they want - it is win win all around :barscarf:

🚨 EXCL: Nottingham Forest submit offer to sign Yoane Wissa from Brentford. Bid worth £22m - significantly below #BrentfordFC valuation of 28yo Congo striker; will not be accepted. #NFFC retain interest + also considering alternative options @TheAthleticFC
We should bang in a 45-50 mill bid and get it done..We won't though

What are the chances we finally sign a forward. They then get injured in the first training session of their Arsenal career. :barscarf:

Surely buddy we have to be aiming higher than wissa ?? Quite apart from the fact that he aint top quality, it is also a certainty that he would be a back up to havertz rather than replacing him - a high profile striker signing will be much, much harder for the water boy to leave on the bench imo, and I believe it is the only potential position signing where player profile will be as important as his quality. Reason why I dont want the water boy to get a penny to spend is exactly because of strikers like wissa, mbeuno and sesko - the water boy will piss away the money signing second rate players like them and then sit them on the bench while muttering nonsense about the players needing time to adjust to our "style" - fans wont tolerate signing a top quality high profile striker warming the bench whilst the german dud falls over his own feet every week

I fully expect Diet Pep to start spouting that if we signed a top quality striker it would kill Havertz, Jesus or the Lady Boy. Although thinking about it maybe that's not a bad idea.

Jesus will be like a new striker next season, albeit a knackered one with Riveta knees. Internal solutions incoming.

I'm not convinced that even if we do buy a decent striker ArsenTeta will use him properly anyway. The way we are playing is not conducive to having strikers run inside of defenders. Tip tap, tip tap, tip tap, look up, slow it down some more and then wonder why the pass into the striker isn't on

We aren't bringing anyone in are we.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I just knew I should never have got my hopes up that maybe ... Just Maybe... This time... Arten Wenker just might take us back to being Champions when he came in...

It hurts less if I had Never had that fragile thread of hope.

🚨 BREAKING from @Teamnewsandtix:

Matheus Cunha had agreed terms with Arsenal but also with Wolves on new deal.

He is now refusing to sign it because he feels he has a chance of going to Arsenal and is trying everything to make it happen.
