🚨 EXCL: Nottingham Forest submit offer to sign Yoane Wissa from Brentford. Bid worth £22m - significantly below #BrentfordFC valuation of 28yo Congo striker; will not be accepted. #NFFC retain interest + also considering alternative options @TheAthleticFC
We should bang in a 45-50 mill bid and get it done..We won't though

Surely buddy we have to be aiming higher than wissa ?? Quite apart from the fact that he aint top quality, it is also a certainty that he would be a back up to havertz rather than replacing him - a high profile striker signing will be much, much harder for the water boy to leave on the bench imo, and I believe it is the only potential position signing where player profile will be as important as his quality. Reason why I dont want the water boy to get a penny to spend is exactly because of strikers like wissa, mbeuno and sesko - the water boy will piss away the money signing second rate players like them and then sit them on the bench while muttering nonsense about the players needing time to adjust to our "style" - fans wont tolerate signing a top quality high profile striker warming the bench whilst the german dud falls over his own feet every week
Memories of Wanker being forced into spending some money for Podolski and then leaving Germany's third top goalscorer of all time on the bench or playing him as a winger because he didn't like being told he had to buy a striker. All whilst nobody could understand why such a profilic goalscorer wasn't playing every single game.
It's getting more and more like we're back in about 2014 by the day.

🚨 BREAKING from @Teamnewsandtix:

Matheus Cunha had agreed terms with Arsenal but also with Wolves on new deal.

He is now refusing to sign it because he feels he has a chance of going to Arsenal and is trying everything to make it happen.

🇧🇷

The bits I have seen of him I would like him as a player, but is he a striker ? No he fcuking isnt so again water boy fcuk off :censored: :censored:

For all those still defending this useless basque c.unt, just consider for the minute that IF THIS STORY IS TRUE, the two deals we as a club are working on at the mo is a defensive midfielder for the summer, and an attacking midfielder now - still no fcuking striker :banghead: :banghead:

I view him as a young jesus. As you say not a striker as such. Could help but not what we need ideally. Whelmed if he's the answer.

Sesko is growing on me, isak vibes and could be 100m in a year or 2. We missed the boat on isak I say take the punt on sesko aas oshinen ain't happening in a million years.

You hit the nail on the head in an earlier post augie. He doesn’t want to displace his vanity project Havertz. There was no excuse for buying a proven dud in the first place, but Legohead ain’t about to admit that he got it wrong. Just like Wenger, the ego’s too big.

So, if he can sign Cunha, it helps with with the Saka injury…although puts Nwaneri back on the bench…placates enough supporters to stop a rebellion and means that our useless German CF (or whatever the fuck he’s supposed to be) doesn’t lose his place.

I hope he signs no one and is hung out to dry in May.

I really don't know enough about Cunha to comment on his abilities but every article I've read on him this evening describes him as a forward/attacking midfielder/winger. What would be the fucking point of buying someone to play in positions that don't solve the problem we have? It either tells us that Artenger doesn't recognise the issue at hand or is completely disinterested in fixing it. I swear to fucking God, he's got the same fucking saviour/self-indulgent 'I'm a genuis' complex as the old fraudulent wanker. Thinks he knows better than anyone else, that he can magically transform players from playing in one position to a completely new role and get something out of player that nobody else has. He's a bang average manager who should have been learning the role at a second division team in Spain. There's a reason Cunha's at Wolves and there's a reason he's a fucking attacking midfielder/winger/ I don't fucking know what. He's not a fucking out and our 25+ league goals a season striker so no, fuck off and stop wasting our time, he's not what we need. Jesus fucking Christ. If you can't see the problem then fuck off. If you can see it and think this is fixing it then fucking hell, fucking fucking hell, you need to fuck off right this minute.

There are 2 players we should be looking at and that Sulemana and Dibling of Southampton...The pace and skills of Sulemana is unreal and Dibling is a natural finisher. Southampton are doomed so we should be making an offer for both of them NOW!
R.B Leipzig in for Dibling (Southampton striker) for a mere £25mill, looks like it's happen. I know he's young and un-tested, but he is Quality and so much better than what we have. :?

The Podolski situation drove me fucking mental. He was one of the best most naturally talented finishers to ever play for us and Wenger demonstrated his own "genius" by playing him as a winger..... :x

The spirit of 2008-17 is well and truly back amongst us all

Brings tears of joy and despair to my eyes in equal measure to see us quoting "like a new signing" and the "internal market"

Just need one shitebag signing of Silvestre or Santos status before we see the return of HostGator and the words "I'm sorry he did not cost 50 million". Any loan signings out there with broken backs?
