Doesn’t even matter that we still managed to win the game it’s fucking disgusting and you’d never in a million years see him (or any other referee) give him it against any other team. CHEAT

Michael Oliver almost three years ago in this very fixture Wolves away he sent off Martinelli, 2 yellow cards in a min. Ridiculous and corrupt.

Gets forgotten amongst the many bad decisions we have suffered, but ranks like the Rice red BHA, it only happened to us before and since.

We somehow hung onto a 1-0 win but it was a farce.

Oliver who wouldn't send off Kovavic last season as he 'didn't want to spoil the game' with a second yellow when really he could of walked for a straight red after going through Odegaard twice late and out of control.

We won that game also 1-0 so again it get's airbrushed :banghead:
Not forgotten by me my friend.

I was livid and still to this day cannot believe those decisions. Many of us at the time said "you'll never see a double yellow sending off like Martinelli's in the game ever again" and lo and behold three years later we still haven't, and never will.

I knew Oliver was an utter shitbag attention whore mong and shit ref when he got the lines shaved into his hair. He then proceeded to prove me right by being one of the worst cheat incompetent refs in the history of the game. :censored:

Genuine question here....he gave him 2 yellows for 2 fouls in the same passage of play. Is that permissable in the laws of the game?
Doesn't really matter mate... I mean since when have they applied the Laws and Rules applied in our games... Unless it suits them.

I think it certainly matters. I'm interested to know if it's allowed within the rules of the game. If it isn't, then once again, we should have kicked up a stink. If it is, then we can't complain about the decision on a rules basis, but we should surely ask why it has only ever been applied to us?

It was beyond ridiculous by Oliver, but from a football knowledge respect, I'm interested to know if he was technically correct.

Horrendous, bent decision by a ref who's a fucking cheat. How these cúnts are allowed to get away with it week after week and year after year is unbelievable. The only conclusion you can come to is that they are fucking cheating, corrupt cúnts with a institutional agenda against us .

Agreed on that point, but you and I know Retro that even if his decisions were proved to be Wrong, You and I know that as per usual Webb the Cock Sucker would "Apologise" Yeah! Right!.... And no action would be taken... That's what I meant when I said "Doesn't really matter "... Because they would only say it was a 'One Off' or that it had been addressed internally.

I think it depends on whether Cunha plays or not....If he does he WILL Score against us; I mean talk about "Written In The Stars etc" and so should he play he'll score thus further proving to ArsenTeta should sign him ASAP...

If he doesn't play, we Will Win 1 - 3.

Not sure what to make if that starting XI. Back four looks strong but apart from Nwaneri, who is 17, there isn't much in the way of creative play and the bench looks worryingly weak.

I thought MLS had a hamstring injury last game

Why do we insist on playing players with an injury? Has the red zone concept been abandoned?
Tierney should be playing.

Great to see Saliba and Nwaneri too. I hope they're both completely injury free

I understand and agree with your thinking, BUT it is a more creative starting 11 than in our last game - trossard is miles ahead of fat chav, and Nwanieri looks more creative on the ball than our disappearing captain does these days
