We will appeal the red card but you can bet your money the FA will uphold it due to some medieval rule. Apparently it was because MLS made no attempt to play the ball. I recall Xhaka got a similar red card about 8/9 ago and we never saw one given again.

Apparently it's because the contact was above the ankle. And theirs wasn't a red because apparently it wasn't excessive force. Shame we've let total c.unts overcomplicate a beautifully simple game

A guy who was compromised taking money to officiate in a country that owns a premier league club, a guy who in 55 games reffing city has never once sent off a one of their players but miraculously has sent 7 of ours off in that amount.

A cheat who sent off Martinelli for 2 yellows in 10 seconds and never made that decision before or since. A cheat that sent Trossard off at city for delaying the fucking restart. A cheat that refused to send Kovacic off against us for a nailed on red after a shocking tackle, followed 5 minutes later by another stone wall yellow because he didn’t want to ruin the game.

We could sign prime Messi and Ronaldo and it would still be an uphill battle to win this league. It’s crooked and we’re playing with a stacked deck. The delaying the restart bullshit, the clash of heads penalty, Howard Webb siting in the stands getting invoked to get Saliba sending off and now today a straight red for a trip.

Just watch the quick highlights and that cûnt Oliver whips out the red card instantly against Lewis Skelly but lets play continue for a moment after that shocker from their bloke, almost as if he's going to let play continue until he realises he's already booked him or someone tells him in his ear. It's this instanteous response that proved to me there's an institutional agenda against us. I have never seen someone so keen to get a red out for such a minor foul. Never.
