Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This was a yellow card in the Forset v Brighton match today........where's Michael Oliver??
Must have been 'below the ankle' or some bollox that us not involved in match-fixing couldn't possibly understand. It's hard to be a ref, don't you know, what with all those cameras to help you make decisions and one day of work a week.

You’d laugh if this level of match fixing by officials was happening out in the far east in a huge betting scandal. Yet here we have it in our on league blatantly played out in front of our eyes every single week. It’s bent.

Scouse c.unts have had everything go their way haven't they. Barely any injuries despite playing as many games as us, soft penalties given and then just inexplicable stuff like Kluivert missing an open goal when he's been scoring for fun recently

You get seasons like this where everything just falls into place. 9 points now FFS

Was thinking that earlier today too. The lads on the radio were saying that Bournemouth have an injury crisis and were missing 7/8 players. The amount of times that’s happend when teams play the victims is crazy. The stars have aligned, no injuries, all the decisions go in their favour, other teams get screwed and every break goes their way.

You’d have to think that this incredible run of luck can’t continue and has to come to an end but even if it does they’ll get enough help from officials to see them through.

Also from Forest v Brighton today. Remember the law this season is 'any ball touching a hand or arm leading to a goal is given as handball'.........

Seriously, the fucking officials do their own thing each week and fuck the actual laws of the game  :banghead:

Just the 4 times he touches it. Not sure it would even be allowed in Basketball. “Travelling” I think they call it.

When it’s us - you left me no choice
When it’s other teams - I have a choice and I’m going to let it go

When it’s us - letter of the law
When it’s other teams - I’ll let it slide

Manipulation of results by making decisions to suit
