Regardless of what many of us may think of Artea (Arrogant, In-Experienced, A Younger clone of TOF; especially when he talks Bollocks in his pre and Post game pressers). But ever since Arteta called them (PGMOL and their Openly secret weapon) VAR out as "A Disgrace" after the Fat Bellied Head Choppers game they have slowly but surely eroded any chance of us Winning the Title. The thing is they can take their time, allow nothing (Obviously In-correct) to happen for 2 or 3 games, but as with Every Player in Every Team, they will ALWAYS Fuck-Up at some point and so PGMOL / VAR just have to sit back and wait; A Prime Example of that is when (*) Webb was sat in the stands communicating with Stockley Park and Rice got Red Carded for what was a Nothing incident; the same kind of incident ; The delay of play by kicking or throwing the ball away... Since then I have seen at least the same thing 20 times by players in other teams games and Nothing has been done.

But a red card here and there, an off-side decision here and there and those decisions cost us valuable points and well know what points make don't we!?

People may think I'm being paranoid, but for me there have been too many non-incidents made into Yellow or Red Card offences by the officials.

And until the fans of ALL Clubs can put aside their differences & tribalism etc for the Good Of The Game and Really make it the Top Headline in all media outlets, with protests and phone in's on radio etc it will just continue un-abated.

(*) Until we can (as someone on here said) ' subpoena' him for the details of his Phone Call / Texts at that time, he can do whatever the fuck he wants.

I think its the repeat symptoms of the last decade of Wenger that have taken me back to the SteveO that joined the forum 17 years ago or so. Failed transfer windows, lack of leadership, bottling it at all the wrong moments

There's no doubt we are a better side than 2-3 years ago but think after 700m invested and over 5 years at the helm, that should be the least of our expectations

Praying for a miracle post Dubai but just see a threadbare squad with very few options going forward. Was just reading Keown's book on holiday and putting aside the Wenger worship he talks about the fine margins of 1999, and says the issue was selling Ian Wright and leaving only Anelka (and Wreh) if there was no DB10 and comparing to the 4 strikers that guided Man Ure to the treble. The parallels with Wenger are there, apart from style, Arteta far more defence focused, Wenger the opposite, in that regard.

We might well go on a run from this game after a nice break but eventually we'll run out of steam again, probably when the CL games force us to play the same players over and over...

We've just chucked this season away, unlucky with injuries maybe, but with a bigger squad maybe that doesn't happen, less fatigue/red lining.
