SSN - Arsenal fear striker Kai Havertz could miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

Havertz injured his hamstring during a training camp in Dubai and it means Arsenal now have no recognised strikers currently fully fit as they bid to close the gap to Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Arsenal had no recognised strikers all season. :D

It’s taken a while but I think Arteta is now being completely exposed as being out of his depth at Arsenal.

Better to try and fail than not to try at all. Fuck them. Fucking cowards. You reap what you sow and they’ve been absolutely left hole open now after the January debacle and fucked us all in the process. Chucked the season away with their sheer incompetence. Well played all.

Outside shot of the league, last 16 of the CL and the pussies waved the white flag. If whoever they’re targeting in the summer (LOL) is looking in at this cowardly surrender they can only be left to think that we’re not a serious club and tell their agent to swerve that kind of shit show. Pathetic.

If we were 6 points off the CL spots as opposed to 6 points off the top this January I guarantee you we’d have gone out and signed a striker. Nothing nor nobody will ever convince me otherwise. Always the same, always a player or 2 short because they haven’t got the fucking stones for it. Happier to feather the nest than the trophy cabinet.

Squad morale must be in the absolute shitter. Rice came out in January and all but begged for reinforcements. Madrid sniffing around Saliba - he’d be mad to stick around. What a fucking debacle and so unnecessary. Joke club.

Trouble is Rob, this will be his get out of jail card when we win fuck all again....which would have happened with injuries or not. The cretins who now seem so numerous amongst our support will blame injuries for our failure, will exonerate Arteta and will tell you with a perfectly straight face that without injuries we'd have definitely won either the PL or CL, maybe both. It woz injuries wot dun it.

depressingly true.
if we can limp in to a top 4 finish it will also take the pressure off buying a new striker in the summer....because I am sure the club is ready to spin our 2 "new signings" of Havertz and Jesus for 25/26

nailed it there too.
as I have always maintained the club under Kroenke exists to be a top 4 club and not a "winning" club.

yes we have spent £800 million - but that was purely to give the illusion of competing. it makes us a competitive team, but the real desire and ability to get over the winning line doesnt exist with the board the way it is and the limited management skills that Arteta has

Does "Mental Health" issues / problems come under Injuries... They have All said since He got shot of Auba... "We Need a Striker".

Arteta Is a fucking idiot and deserves a huge amount of the blame for his negligence when it comes to getting a striker but I don't think the debacle that was the January window is just down to him. More than likely Kroenke wasn't going to give another cent to spend when we will more than likely finish top 4. Kroenke couldn't give a shit about actual trophies and once we are in the CL that's all that matters. Had we been outside of the top 4 last month then we'd have magically found the funds to bolster the squad. As long as this leach is the owner of the club then we will be nothing more than a business and we'll never win any major titles again

Much as Havertz isn't the long term solution for us and nowhere near a title winning CF, anyone who believes his absence won't make a difference is kidding themselves. He's the only option we had - he can hold the ball up, he wins a lot in the air, and at his best was very good and bringing others into the game. Trossard, Sterling or any other suggested options don't do any of that.

Its not to say Havertz hasn't been shit recently - he has. He'd been diving like a fanny, missed some sitters and had some stinkers. However, all the other suggested 'false 9s' or whatever you want to label them have been equally or more shit and now we're suggesting it won't make any difference if Trossard is playing there, or heaven forbid Merino as an emergency striker. They've been fucking awful in their specialist positions let alone being our answer at CF

By all means suggest Havertz isn't the right guy moving forward, but please don't anyone tell me this is a good thing of even a neutral thing for this season

I didn't even cheer Everton's goal last night. The season is 100% done with Havertz out and we are going to have some desperately miserable weeks ahead and may miss top 4 altogether such is the severity of the attacking problem

Sunday 25th May

Top 4 Cup Final Day

I’m expecting a heroic performance at mighty Southampton to pip Bournemouth for the top 4 finish. Laps of honour and a full summer ahead to look forward to the return of our legends Havertz & Jesus :barscarf: :barscarf:

Jesus should be given the option to terminate his contract at this point, no way he'll ever be the same player again, I think he only has a year left this summer, offer to pay half and let him go.

Same with Tomi, not his fault but he's not offering the squad much if he's out 80% of the time.

We seriously need to build a bigger squad, especially in attack and look at our training methods, wtf was Havertz doing training in Dubai?, he was holding his hamstring at the end of the Wolves game, give him time off to recover ffs.

Half Arteta's fault but just as much on the board, clueless without an actual DoF although they could have been 'hamstrung' by the Krankie's.
