I literally don't give a fuck about this game. We win and what? Get fucking humiliated in the next round? I'd rather go out losing both legs of this one nil or whatever than go out losing both legs five nil to Madrid.

Fuck it seasons been over since shit for brains mk II didn't sign a striker in January.

To be honest DB, I think it's been over since we didn't sign a striker last summer....or the one before that.
You are probably right, mate. In fact I know you are. But I like to try being an optimistic bastard every now and then and I like to think if we had signed a striker in January we could have at least beaten the likes of Wet Spam and Forest. But tbh there is a lot more wrong with this team than just not having a striker...... :|
:rubchin: I've never seen you as an optomist, a bastard? most definitely, but never an optomist

Biggest result of the lot is that I'm working in Asia this coming week and the game will be on at 4am local time - so I will be well and truly snoring my head off.....actually much as i would be if I was watching the goalless wonders play out another snoozefest. Certainly won't be setting my alarm clock for this one

I'll catch the 30 seconds highlights package with our 1 shot on target later on

That is an intriguing question. :rubchin:

A few years back I would say that's a ticket to my full support again and he must stay!

But now, I don't know.... the CL for me was ruined by changing from a cup format with only actual champions in it, to the greedy money hungry shit that is the league format with 5th place teams getting into it ffs. Having said that, I still wanted the Arsenal to be the first London club to win it though.

It was then totally and completely devalued when the skidmark no history tiny little pimped chav$ bought it.

For me it is now only an itch we must scratch to be seen in the European media as a "truly big club" zzzzz. Nothing more. A club of our stature should have won it at least once, but to be honest I'd rather win the PL.

So if the Spanish David Brent did win it..... um, part of me says it would be a case of "thanks for that, much appreciated, well done, but please still proceed to fuck off", as it most likely would have been a fluke and he'd still turn into latter era Wenger for years to come.

But another part of me says you can't sack a manager that just won you the CL!

Fuck it, I'd give him one more year!

Either way, we all know he ain't winning no champions league.... :|

It won’t happen but if we won the Champions League Arteta would have a statue and a 10 year contract.

Just had the fortune of being in Asia for both the Shammers and Forest games. Saw the first 20 minutes of the Shammers and that was it :barscarf:

It was really refreshing not to be arsed whether I saw the matches or not and that's how I feel about this upcoming shitfest.

And let's face it, Diet Peps's record in cup competitions is fucking woeful, and I don't see that changing any time soon. First knockout stage and we'll be gone.

Winning the CL would be like going down 6-0 to spudz and then winning 6-7 in the final 7 minutes. The relief would show all over my trousers, but I'd still be thinking why on earth did we go 6-0 down.
