United have been an utter car crash ever since Fergie left and there's no sign of it getting any better, their fans truly do have something to moan about! The Chavs are a comedy club, they'll spend another 200m+ in the summer and they'll get a little closer to being a good team but I'm very glad we are not Chelsea either!!.
This season has been shit for us, based on the high standards of the previous 2 seasons. 5 years ago, we'd have all bitten someones arm off for 2nd place and quarter finals of the CL. It's not good enough by a long chalk of course and there needs to be a huge improvement next season but it means we are a million miles away from Utd.
At last it appears we are getting a proper Director of Football in Andrea Berta, not BBQ Edu who was all white shirts and teeth. Looked good but really didn't add anything as a head of football. Berta won't take shit from Arteta and we'll finally have someone with excellent experience and more importantly, the pay grade to hold Arteta accountable for things.
I said months ago that Chelsea will bid 20m more for Sesko regardless of what we do and I'm sure they will, it's down to who he wants to join with LiVARpool interested as well. We need 4 attacking signings, I'm very very interested in how many we will actually go for. Next season will see Arteta go if he doesn't win a trophy.
Just to re-iterate, we have NOWHERE NEAR the issues that Utd have!!
