Got to the stage now ,where I start watching our games and if we go a goal down I change channels straight away cos I've absolutely no belief that we're going to come back and win the game. Our captain in the papers yesterday admitting he hasn't been good enough this season, and then goes and puts in another dreadful performance.
The clown who manages the club couldn't even find 1 attacking player in world football that could make our team better.

The worst utd side in living memory and we couldn't beat them . :cussing:

When you look at it in the eyes of a realist, we need half a side. Keeper and defensively I think you could get away with keeping. But we need a new back up keeper. Tomiyasu is finished and needs to be gone. Tierney also gone. I think we have enough full backs to cover those two. Midfield we are going to need to replace Jorginho and Partey. Just purely in terms of numbers. Odegaard is a worry as if he plays like that for much longer he needs to be replaced. Then you move on to the wings. We need a first choice winger and a back up winger. Plus two new strikers. There is not a hope in hell of us doing all that in one Summer. My prediction is we regress again and he goes mutually at the end of next season when we scrape top 4 and players start leaving the Club.

If we lost that game today then that would have been me done with the club until pep's cone boy fcuks off and I mean that 1,000,000%. It isnt just down to the fact that we would have lost to the worst manure side since the mid 70s, but I really cannot stomach watching a team play with so little heart or guts - back in latter GG days we knew that we played some dire football and were awful to watch at times, but we also know that we had players who would literally lay down their lives for the team and the fans every single matchday, and for that they had our respect and support. These days our support is over-run with w**kers who worship at the feet of cowardly c.unts like captain invisible, and try to shame fans who dare to demand some backbone and passion from our players. Social media is over-run with c.unts licking the cone boys ringhole, and laughably some say that he needs more backing from the board and owners - this after spending £800m and having useless c.unts havertz and jesus as your only two strikers    Ticket prices going up AGAIN next season and the wage bill rocketing too, and yet as fans we are meant to lower our expectations and ambitions ??? These brainless fans and their legohead manager would like to spout out injuries as a defence for our failing away in this title race, but anyone with half a brain knew that no team will win a league with havertz and jesus as their strikers (hence why chavs and citeeh sold them). I am expecting us to drop out of 2nd position before this season is over, and then it is a question of how low we drop before we see the reaction it provokes - my two boys said during the week (after psv game) that we will struggle to score against any team that plays a low block against us, and while psv might have been too naive/arrogant to play that way against us, you can bet your boll*x that every team we play in the premier league will play that way against us

This could be the slowest and most painful end of season that many of us have ever experienced :( :(
Oh fucking paragraphs!!!! :suicide:

If the rumours are to be believed
OUT: Partey, Jorginho, Zinchenko, Tierney
IN : Joan Garcia, Nico Williams, Sesko, Zubimendi, Nypan

Sesko is still raw and will need time to settle and Zubimendi will need to adapt his game for box to box. We are going to need an experienced midfielder as I don’t think Nypan is anywhere near ready for PL football but Arteta may consider Merino as adequate cover.

This summer is the club’s last chance to rectify perennial transfer mistakes before he hit the buffers and derail

After we scored and Partey was subbed, it looks like Rice went back to 6, MLS in midfield and Tierney left back. A re-arrangement of the deck chairs basically which gifted this poor United team momentum. Surely Jorginho would’ve been a more sensible option. Our balance was shot to pieces and the game turned into a ridiculous end to end basketball game.

Did tierney not going left wing, trossard to centre forward, and merino back into midfield alongside rice ??

Amongst Diet Pep's faults, of which there are many, it's his in game management that has been a concern since day one.

He's like the old fraud and just chucks players on without considering the consequences. Often it's like for like substitutions which does little to change formation or tactics based on the opposition. But I always get the impression that he brings players on in hoping change will happen instead of proactively managing the game.

People will moan about injuries, blah, blah, blah, but who's fault is it that we have an ineffective squad?

Who knows mate. The balance went to pot thanks to all the shifting around and we became sitting ducks.

I'm sick of some of our fans - and I use that word loosely. When we beat PSV, the moronic Arteta song had to be sung as though we are being managed by a footballing savant. These same people will have watched the absolute cowardice and embarrassment that was yesterday and will have reached for the excuse book because their brains can't comprehend that this novice is out of his depth
We have alot of problems at the club bigger than the fans but the enabling of mediocrity is a huge issue that has allowed dross on the sideline and on the field to continue to stink up the place :banghead:

Why didn’t any of the fucking idiots in the wall realise that they were a mile back from the ball and move up rather than just stand there and have it float in over their fucking heads :banghead:

They’ll have been in thousands of walls between training and games and will have known they were too far back but just stood there like fucking gormless gimps anyway.

Did you not hear it being sung in the second half yesterday not long after we equalised ? It's beyond embarassing listening to braindead c.unts belting it out when even stevie wonder can see the man is out of his depth, and knowing that fans of other clubs are taking the piss knowing that he is a shit manager   It's fans backing managers that need to be replaced (like they did with wenger) that drags us down, and it is impossible to see light at the end of the tunnel knowing that our incompetent board will not sack a manager that still retains some level of support within the fanbase

It really is a huge issue. It's clear that at other "big" clubs (in fact, most clubs tbh) the fans exert a lot of pressure on the board when a manager is underperforming, but we never really do. I realise that Wenger had a fair bit of credit in the bank, but fuck me, that should have run out by at least 2010, but he still held sway over a huge part of the support by the time he went in 2018.

It's admirable that we give managers a fair crack of the whip and aren't screaming for their head after a couple of poor results (see the scum), but there are limits and serious big clubs with ambition, both fans and the board, know when it's time to pull the trigger. Arteta has run his race. I keep saying it, but he peaked last year and while I'll give him credit for improving on the set up that he inherited, if he hangs around beyond the end of this season, then all his work will be undone. It's happening already.

Unfortunately, the majority of our supporters won't see it that way and our owners don't know enough (nor have the ambition to win trophies) to see it either. Most of you will probably remember the short lived Kroenke Out campaign a few years ago and there was a WhatsApp group of those of us involved. There's been no communication since that movement petered out with a whimper, but a couple of weeks ago one of the guys sent out a message that was just a picture of Stan. It prompted some conversation, but I was the only voice that felt it was time to move Arteta on. I got the usual bollocks about poor recruitment not being his fault (ffs), how he's improved us, how we've had bad refereeing decisions, 3 seasons in second place (assuming we do so this season) isn't failure and perhaps my expectations are too high, injuries (that's gonna be traded long and hard), that our CL group stage performance saw us in the top 3 in Europe ( )....all the bullshit we heard for years when Wenger was killing us.

I didn't know these people back then, so don't know when, if ever, some or all of them turned against the OF, but the group contains a number of bloggers and "influencers" and as devotedly Arsenal as they are (and nice people), they haven't all got a great grasp of what they're watching. They are, however, pretty representative of our support, so don't expect any serious anti Arteta sentiment anytime soon.

Unfortunately, if you settle for mediocrity and second best, then that's what you'll get.
