Blue dippers A Sat 5th April KO 1230

Post by falkirk goon »

Next up it's a trip to play Everton for the last time at Goodison.Theyve got a game tonight at Anfield so we have an extra day to prepare. As we all know, the leagues been fucked for a while now so it's just a case of getting through this with no leetle beet neegles hopefully.Theyre unbeaten in 9 i think :rubchin: Fuck knows how it will go.

As much as I detest Liverpool I have always had a soft spot for Everton. They were the ones who , to misquote RedNose " knocked Liverpool off their fucking perch" and gave the rest hope. They were denied a possible/ probable European Cup by their scumbag neighbour's supporters. And in return for standing with Liverpool every step of the way through Hillsborough Liverpool fans taunted them with Steau banners ( Steau Bucharest won the 86 European Cup,the first one without English clubs) .
On the game, it is their final salute season, I predict a draw.

We struggle up here don't we, and with Moyes back at the helm and only losing 1 in 10 I expect that to continue.

I'll be keeping my eyes on Saliba who for all the praise lavished his way struggles without Gabriel and has on occasion been roughed up by the type of striker like Beto. There's not many of them left and having watched that carthorse Konate get bailed out by VVD on multiple occasions last night, I think it will be a very big test

Goodison is no place for the faint hearted when their minds are on it (which they currently are). Our wimp of a captain shouldn't play in this, but he will and he'll be muscled out of the game from first to last by the likes of shithouse c.unts like Doucoure and Gueye.

I can see a limpdicked 1-0 in an uncomfortable environment - hope to be wrong but I sniff defeat here, especially without Gabriel

Great news.....

Referee for this game is Darren England......the guy on VAR for the Wolves game when he agreed with Oliver that MLS deserved a red card! W@nker of the highest order. To top it off we also have Stuart Twatwell on VAR for this game, another incompetent Arsenal hater. :banghead:

To be honest mate, I'm not sure it matters much now. I'm struggling to think of a single official I would welcome to officiate - either on the pitch or in the VAR studio - all as fucking incompetent as the next man

I know many on here think its all on us, but imagine if Tarkowski had performed that challenge on one of our players last night and had VAR confirm it as a yellow card

VAR has been introduced in a way so as to deliberately fail and I've maintained that from day one. Last night's horror challenge is just the latest example - if that wasn't a clear and obvious error by the ref then god knows what is. Even diehard blue dipper Duncan Ferguson couldn't believe it. The whole system is flawed, deliberately so by those who reluctantly introduced it a few years ago, so it will never work. Its like having a Prime Minister who didn't want Brexit and asking her to implement it!

Fair point SteveO, I agree there's not a single ref who performs consistently decently in the PL. It's shocking.

Have we seen a sending off like the Rice one...or MLS one...have we fuck and never will.....thats obvious Anti arsenal bias proven
VAR gives them that excuse to interfere with decisions and of course be unaccountable...CORRUPT

Never been paid more money, and never had such a shit collection of refs. Remember when they told us professional referees would solve all the issues

Google up any article about how the PL table would look if incorrect decisions were reversed, or without VAR, or recalibrating the table for confirmed VAR mistakes and you'll find we'd still be second. Teams like Bournemouth have suffered worse than we have. Not saying we haven't had more rough than smooth - we have - but there will be fans of teams like Bournemouth, Southampton, Wolves and Everton saying the same

One thing is for sure - the standard of reffing is awful. The top European refs are better than ours, and a truly international game would have overseas refs running our games. Also VAR is set up to fail - the whole principle of 'clear and obvious' kills it dead because it should be used exactly for the opposite as with any other sport. We don't want it correcting clear and obvious mistakes, we want it correcting ones that are too tight to call in real time. Its a fundamentally flawed implementation that will never work in its current guise

Any hopes I may have had of going there and getting anything just have (as Cheech & Chong would say)"Gone Up In Smoke!". They will do their usual impersonation of SAS Cave Men and kick the holy fuck out of us (*), then when one of ours gives it back, he'll get Carded; colour depending on what Webb has said to his Bum Boys before the game and how loud their Fans are shouting & Booing.

(*) And of course they'll be targeting Saka, and with Odegaard doing his invisible man act, there will be no creativity or forwardness to our game...Gabriel being out is a huge Miss, as he enjoys mixing it with anyone, added to which he is the one Saliba relies on to keep things in order, so expect Saliba to either get Red Carded or to have a stinker; or both.

It looks like it is already set up for us to fail.

These Neanderthal Cũnts are the same as the Orcs from stoke...and deserve relegation ASAP.

It's the starting line up of a manager who knows the game is up in the league - he can never admit as much but when Sterling starts you know the game is up. Ask yourself if he'd be starting if we trailed Liverpool by 3 points?

Delighted that Captain Invisible is left out, even if in Lego's mind it's to save him for Madrid. Having said that Trossard has been every bit as bad - nothing short of disgraceful in fact - so the lesser of two evils

1-0 coming up
