How can you say it is all on the club when with even half of the decisions we would be within sniffing distance of them? Madness.
So you think not buying a striker in January was fine? What's been more important the decisions or our total lack of firepower ?
Where did I say that? Why does us getting it wrong mean we can get clobbered by refs?
Course it doesn't but we've dropped a lot of points in games where the refs had nothing to do with it - honestly that January window did more damage than anything else

United and West Ham. 5 points dropped. Big deal.

2-2 at home to Villa when 2-0 up, 0-0 at home to Everton who were absolutely gash back then. 0-0 at Forest despite battering them but had no striker. All very winnable games - an extra six points, so we'd now be 5 behind and still have Liverpool to play. Chuck in a win at home to that awful West Ham team and you've got 2 points. Yeah big deal eh? I mean 11 points or 5 points or 2 points? Honestly mate, this is laughable. You've got to start seeing how we've fucked our own destiny here

Back to what Rodders calls the skidmark three

Southampton become the earliest team relegated in PL history. Leicester with 1 win in 15. Ipswich 12 points adrift with 7 games left

Does the PL really need 3 up and 3 down and a total of 20 clubs? Two seasons in a row where the promoted 3 have sunk without trace

But yay, here comes Burnley, Sheffield United and Leeds to waste everyone's time for another year

People complain about the number of injuries and yet we'll have six meaningless matches against these turdbags next season

January was actually a double down of self harm after the summer transfer window and the complete and utter waste of it. A non improvement on elneny in midfield and a sick note who had previous of being ina position that wasn't as needed as a striker. Money pissed up that wall.

Actually let's take a step back to the previous summer and the signing of havertz. Was apparent we needed a proper striker back then. Instead we got a vanity project.

Can blame refs all you want as an excuse the unforgivable thing is we haven't done all we could to win it by neglecting the gun striker we all know we have needed for 3 years. Had we addressed that in the havertz summer we could have potentially 2 title come season end.

Self harm FC. Est 2004/5

100% on the money. Havertz himself wasn't the problem. If he'd been one of several signings in that position, playing second fiddle even to the gun striker as a useful back up we'd be in a much stronger position. Total self harm though - absolutely agree. January unforgiveable as was the Summer - Calafiori, Merino and two of the shittiest loan signings known to man

I think you are misquoting me. I consistently say how shit we have been. But despite that if we hadn’t also been nobbled by refs we would be there or there abouts. If we had not dropped points and signed a striker we may be going in to the run in level pegging. Refs have been a massive difference this season despite our own self harm.

The agony is that our next games Brentford (h), Ipswich (a) and Palace (h) (days before their FA semi final), Bournemouth (h), I expect 9-10 points from

Liverpool have the Chavs (a) before we play them and Brighton (a) afterwards - those dropped points looking awful now as I think the Mickeys will lose at least 2 more, possibly more

Mind boggling how shit cheaty have become. This time last year they were romping home with ease as we prayed they’d even draw a game. 2/3 nil up by halftime most weeks.

12 months on and they’re an absolute fucking shambles. I wouldn’t fancy them to beat anyone these days.

Strange isn’t it? Almost as if they were doped and have stopped taking the dope.

Hence why we should call a spade a spade and give Arteta his flowers for keeping us relatively competitive despite the injuries, ridiculous officiating and crazy fixture schedule. We’ve adapted, grind out results and rarely get pulled apart. City collapsed from the moment they lost Rodri
