Great performance. The second half in particular. We completed controlled that and then two amazing free kicks from Rice. Merino’s strike wasn’t bad either!

Before the game I thought it would be close and the best we could hope for was a one goal win so I’m delighted with that. Not over yet, particularly with Real’s record in this competition including some ridiculous comebacks.
However, what a position we have put ourselves in for the second leg. Brilliant!

Now to get more drunk. Credit to Arteta getting that performance and organisation with all the injuries.

Should’ve been 4-0 at least

Unbelievable night. English Dec makes himself a CL legend and pure class from Merino

Not one single player we can criticise tonight - magnificent to a man

I only bloody hope Saka and Rice are OK. Rice looked subdued at the end as if he knows the knock is a problem. Sincerely hope not as that would just about sum up our season!

As complete an Arsenal performance as it gets against the kings of Europe

3 outstanding goals and it is easy to give the praise and attention to the scorers, but for me saliba and especially timber were fcuking outstanding and the foundation on which that performance was built 8)

That was like a dream, just steamrolled them. As with every mercenary side, as soon as it went wrong, they folded. I'm fucking buzzing, what a win, a complete dream :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
